i went around 2pm to the richmond store, picked up the last xbox halo bundle for 350 and forza 6 for 25, which turned out to be roughly the same as microsoft deal and less than the ps4 deal. i was really lusting after the forza edition, but they sold out ever so fast.

macbook pro is also on sale! apple store is going to price match.

I too ended up getting a Nexus 6 but not due to this thread. Just by fluke.

I actually needed a phone since my Nexus One, yes, ONE can't hold much charge anymore.

Went to Bestbuy and here's what I got:

• Nexus 6 - $99
• Trade in rebate - $-50
• FREE $50 Giftcard
• Total Price: $56 and change on 2 year contract (no big deal to me)

I only buy a new phone when my contract is done. Bestbuy was swamped with people looking to upgrade and some getting mad they had to pay out their old contract.

Bestbuy did good for me. Only problem was the Telus system was down for 2 hours so I had to come back. No problem. Once I got back, I was in and out of there in 20 min.

With this $50 GC, I can continue shopping for other Black Friday deals.

PM'ing at London Drugs is the biggest pain in the ass. I've had an LD manager spend 30 minutes on the phone trying to get through to a competing store to see if they had the same item in stock. She was trying to argue that they wouldn't have it stock at that price and that she wouldn't price match it because of her hunch. She left her only customer service associate to deal with a huge lineup as she was hell bent on not price matching. I only went through this BS to use an LD gift card that was given to me.

A few years ago, I've also had an LD computer department manager tell me "we don't do that beat the competitors price bullshit." So in closing... fuck London Drugs and their price match policy. They should stick to peddling aspirin and tampons.

I price matched a Somy camera at LD in April no problem, told them what Walmart was selling it for and manager went on the Walmart website and verified that it still showed it was available and I was out the door.

Funny thing was I had just came from Walmart and the 1 they were showing in stock was actually their broken demo model on the floor :lol

That's weird you had that expierence at london drugs... been price matching there for years. Been getting things like beats/tvs/video games with little to no problems at the london drugs near metrotown and the one in lougheed mall.

I went to LD to get pm for iPod Nano. No problem. The Source's website stated sold out - not available in store and on-line. LD didn't care. I got 40 bucks knocked off. Thank you, The Source.

Aspirin and tampons were also on sale.
