it was his answer when taylor asked him what he thought virtanen needs to do in the ahl

Jake is at .30ppg this year in the A..

Nicklas Jensen is .80ppg leading his team..

I wonder if Rat Face will get any phone calls from the league for this play.

dbaz 01-25-2017 11:41 AM

5th year pro vs 2nd(well barely 2nd). not really a fair comparison. I expect jake to be near ppg next year in the ahl, if not then yea bust

pastarocket 01-25-2017 11:53 AM

Rat Face should be given a suspension for that slew foot. That's a very cheap and dangerous way to hurt another player.

Marchand is the dirtiest player in the NHL!

The League gave a pass for Tkachuk's slew foot on Marincin and Bennett's slew foot on Carrick, not to mention the blatant headshot elbow from Chaisson to Komarov from the other night, so don't expect much.

bennetts slew foot? :lawl: leaf fans..
and yes I saw the video

Not to mention the puck which MUST be frozen prior to the start of the game. If not, it bounces around like a tennis ball and becomes incredibly difficult to handle.

Toews first goal shows the amazing skill that he possesses. The toe drag was silky, and the shot was just plain filthy. So sick. His go ahead goal showed his hockey knowledge. If you look at how he adjusts his angle based on the angle of the shooter. He played the rebound perfectly. But props to Panek for his play. I'm pretty sure he meant to bank it off the back boards for Toews. That's why the Hawks are a world class team.

Depends on the type of rink you play on as well. A sand based rink will have ice that is approximately twice as thick as a concrete based rink. More/thicker ice = softer at the surface.

Jensen is on a loooooooooooooong list of players who can produce well in the AHL but can't play in the NHL.

Devils advocate here but I get more points when I play with better players. You know.. people who can make/take good passes and create plays. As MG1 would say, just saiyin...

Don't remind me. So many times I serve the puck on a silver platter and it goes under the forwards stick and they miss the easy back door empty net tap in. :yuno:

tbh hank said virtanen needs to be a professional ,then says how everyone knows what they need to do when they get to the ice and stuff. he beat around the bush from what dbaz said, but it wasnt as blatant per say...

ch28, i want prooooof

6o4__boi 01-26-2017 07:46 AM

Virtanen well on his way to joining a distinguished list of Canucks draft picks.

Armind 01-26-2017 07:52 AM

Bye Felicia

Mike Oxbig 01-26-2017 08:39 AM

Virtanen was a potential bust before we drafted him. Atleast it got the Canucks fan cheering for something for 1 season lol

6o4__boi 01-26-2017 08:57 AM

lol rat-faced bitch boy just got a $10k fine for his deliberate slew foot
once again reinforcing the fact that nhl player safety is just a room with monkeys spinning a wheel when deciding supplementary discipline

Nabatron 01-26-2017 09:03 AM

^how was he a bust before we drafted him?

definately.
One would think that the NHL guys would be able to make good ice. But think about it. If you're a southern based team, your practices and home games are in a climate that isn't conducive to freezing. Ambient temps, and reflected heat will affect the conditions of the ice. Now, if you're in a playoff matchup with Winnipeg, who averages 20 below for half the year, you won't be accustomed to the summer ice conditions.

I like to think of poor ice surfaces as hockey's version of inflategate. One day, someone will make rink boards and ice conditions an issue.

ouch!
Marchand is a freaking trailer park boy. Born in Halifax, and never left it behind. But $10k for that seems a little extreme. Consider that he is playing some amazing hockey this season with 47 points in 51 games. I kind of wish he was a Canuck.....
