The station is still around but they do nothing with sports. |
guessing 1040/1410 will go all in on the Whitecaps, CFL and Soccer in general they've been doing Champion's League for a while now, they'll probably double down on some Whitecaps stuff as well. |
they will prob get rid of one of the stations and the new station will take a bunch of people from 1040/1410 plz not jake |
New Canucks radio needs new blood. No more of the old farts talking about what theydid this past weekend and laugh like hyenas or guy with a nasal ass voice talking shit all morning. |

He also said the Canucks is a great organization where there will be lots of players to hang out with him on the IR. lol JK |
Whose betting what on playnow? I put a bet on Patrick Kane to score 7+ and hawks to win. |
^ On the Steve Dangle Podcast they were discussing the Preds/Hawks match up and thinking it may be closer than people think. What they were suggesting is that Chicago's stats are a bit skewed because they have a lot of 3 on 3 points/wins, which won't even be a factor in the playoffs. The Preds 5 on 5 stats are almost on par with the Hawks. I haven't had a chance to look at all the stats but I'd be a little tempted to select the Preds in my bracket. |

Yeah but you can't deny that there are teams that just elevate their entire game altogether and go monster mode. The kings, pengs, hawks are great examples. |
if Jim Benning agreed to step down and be the Head Scout for the Canucks would you hire Dean Lombardi as GM? |
Quote:
 Lombardi trade for "Dry Island" inhabitants Mike Richards and Jeff Carter helped the Kings to become legit Cup contenders. :lawl: Then he hired Sutter to coach the team to play a grinding type of system that helped them win championships. This tweet says it all about loyalty being a part of Lombardi's success with the Kings. I don't know about you but I don't think many NHL players visit their former GMs after the big boss fires a GM. Pierre LeBrun ✔ @Real_ESPNLeBrun As @GMillerTSN noted, also hearing how some Kings staff and players went to Lombardi's place last night to say goodbye... strong bonds When you can get your players and other staff to support you even after you are fired, that says something about the way Lombardi managed the team and treated players. Strong bonds, bruh. |
though it can be argued that Lombardi is the reason that Kings are pretty much fucked with big contracts for the next little while. but if that's the price to pay for a couple of cups, i'd do it. I'd happily see the Canucks shit themselves for a decade afterwards with shitty contracts if it meant winning a Cup. :okay: |

"Full autonomy". Sure, Aquaman! |
I forgot how exciting playoff time is. The most recent years, I have spent my time cheering against certain teams. |
EA have nashville over montreal in the stanley cup finals for their playoff simulation...that's quite a bold prediction https://media.easports.com/content/w...mage_2.img.jpg |
Oilers vs Preds in the Western Conference Final? Ok there. |
