There were five game consoles at the Bellingham Best Buy today at noon. I guess they're not that hard to get anymore. I usually go to Walmart to get the all elusive Chocodiles, but ran out of time. They probably had some, too. Anyway, they are $299.00 USD making prices here in Canada not bad at all.

It's too bad the exchange isn't any better though :P.

So as much as I was hesitant on spending the $50 on Puyo Puyo Tetris, I decided to pick it up and have been enjoying it more than the demo. Was getting frustrated by only being able to play one game before having to do the whole loop. So far my wife and I have been loving it.

i bought puyo puyo tetris as well......... and binding of isaac.. both of which i know paid considerably more compared to ps4 or pc :speechless:

i bought binding of isaac for collectors purpose since the physical copy is a limited run... right now there are 2 versions out.. a regular one and first wave edition that comes with stickers, double cover and a retro style manual

Same here, haven't even played BoTW since I got PuyoPuyo tetris.

Can't for the life of me figure out puyo still though tried the lessons but it's hard to wrap my head around it.

Trying to get to sub 100 right now I think I'm close to 199 for regional. Not sure what I am worldwide.

Watched a few of the high ranked players and seems like I've been playing wrong all this time lol. They focus heavily on the T-Spins instead of trying to get Tetris' I'm guessing the garbage is more random that way.

Still also trying to beat my TetrisFriends 40 lines record of 1:08 want to get sub 1:00 :(

Other than going in an checking everyday, sales people are pretty useless over the phone at BestBuy.

If you can wait, your best bet is Amazon and signing up for Prime. They constantly have stock coming in but are reserved for Prime members. Also because of the demand and the long weekend, you won't get two-day delivery.

Yesterday was a good day for stock, amazon and eb both had it and bestbuy the day before. Looks like there seems to be more and more waves coming in of them.

Id' also check London Drugs when I was looking for one they said they get shipments every now and then and it's about 5-7 each

Are these things still in demand, I'm looking to pick one up as my friend have quite a few of them in stock here in China

I kinda want one but not too sure if it's just something I want in the heat of the moment or if it's gonna be a long term thing (that's what happen to me and my wii u, as it turn out to be a short term interest)

If you're unsure then I'd hold off and at least wait until there's a more respectable library of games to play.

Nintendo is very clever with how it's releasing the console. I bought one under pressure and half regretted it for the first couple days

My regret comes from recently playing horizon and feeling like BOTW couldn't compare the second and third regrets come from price and weird control scheme buttt now that I have done some road trips and got used to the console, I am so happy I got it.

The library is growing but so far it's alot of old Nes games. I'm really hoping they continue remaking games like smash bros, super Mario world and stuff like that.

You will find yourself playing games that require less attention. BOTW is great but Its difficult to play a game like that while out and about. That being said, I highly suggest Mario kart. I havnt played the game since n64 but still love it

I guess one of the deciding factors for me was traveling. I almost never use it at home as I have a ps4 with many AAA title games.

yeah i was thinking of grabbing the snes one, they're on sale at the source for $38 but you'd have to buy it online, same with walmart, online only but at $45

Problem with the 8bitdo controllers is the fact that they're probably spoofing the joycons so the Switch reads it as a legit joycon when it's not. There's nothing stopping Nintendo from patching that out later on, so it's a bit of a buyer beware situation.

Used it for a bit last night and it surprisingly works really well.

It does show up as what looks like a pro controller when you sync it.
