anyone playing splatoon 2? skipped the wii u ver so this is my first

pretty chill game.. the game plays it way too safe.. i can never see myself getting frustrated on the losing end of online match...... not gonna bother to use the switch app (heard its horrible experience to use)

i bought this and ARMS for $50 during the amazon e3 sale.. there was a glitch where it would stack up the prime and e3 discount....

stop playing ARMS after one week.. dont know how long im gonna play this one.. and i gotta be honest, only reason i bought and play these games is so Switch can get some action..

i did consider selling it but i think i might regret it when there is even more shortage during the holidays when Mario Odyssey and xenoblade comes out

Hondaracer 07-22-2017 08:35 PM

The way the lineup is going this may be nintendos last console unless they pull a rabbit out of their ass..

All I've played Is Zelda, Mario kart felt way too simple

TypeRNammer 07-22-2017 08:38 PM

I received Splatoon 2 also on launch day.

It's still sealed in the Amazon envelope....

just cash in now

if Nintendo can't meet demand 8 months after system launch then they probably don't deserve your hard-earned money.

lilaznviper 07-31-2017 01:39 PM

saw amazon had stock a couple of days ago. best is to check online for stock

check here to see stocks and grab it online when you do see it back in stock

EB gets stock during the week almost every week, i was lucky because i was able to drive by a few different ones on a daily basis so i got one within a week or so after i started looking.

Anyone played the Lego cities game? kinda hesitant to buy it as it's just a port from other consoles but the coop modes are always fun

Tim Budong 08-01-2017 06:54 AM

possible solution for that clunky dock?

https://world.taobao.com/item/553671...cket=12#detail

Im thinkin bout it.. basically just a plastic shell for you to transfer the pcb over

twitchyzero 08-01-2017 08:55 AM

depends how heavy it is
get the feeling it tips over too easily if it's anything like my $5 ebay phone dock :derp:

Tim Budong 08-02-2017 01:36 AM

i ordered that C-Force 001 thingy of taobao

Since I have a 2016 MacbookPro, it should be fine

everyone says those crowdfunded ones are just rebranded from that

Will report back if it works, becuz a dongle like this will always be in my bag

i saw reviews its pretty decent GTA clone

i notice this is only game in the switch section that has pre owned copies at most eb stores.. that might tell you something else about how this game is

I haven't played it before but from what I've heard, it's a really fun game. However it's a "full priced" game when the Wii U version was a "discounted" title and it requires a pretty hefty install and patch

Mr.HappySilp 08-02-2017 09:12 AM

hmmm is it worth the hassle and cost to pick up a Nintendo Switch...

Mr.Money 08-02-2017 05:34 PM

kinda sucks i didnt hear about nhl 18 release on switch.....could you imagine grouping up somewhere for 5on5 or 3on3 local play.

i still wouldn't pick it up on switch
but i've been playing the beta for NHL18 on the PS4

the game is EXACTLY the SAME with a few good dekes... and slightly improved defensive stick mechanism

overall, the AI still sucks. but its beta...

but im not hoping for much

DHP 1 08-04-2017 10:00 AM

Still using the stock joycon, I don't play enough to justify spending $100 for a Pro controller right now. That said, no point getting a second grip and joycon unless there are more 4 player couch coop games out.

ScizzMoney 08-04-2017 07:15 PM

I use the pro controller and don't regret buying it. My hands were just a little too big for the other setups and would cramp a bit.

Has nhl series change much since say like 2014 lol. slightly better graphic, allow you to have current team rooster. add a few dekes each release

been like this for a few years now no??

twitchyzero 08-06-2017 05:03 PM

the Pro controller hurts the wallet, but it feels quite ergonomic
I've definitely made poorer investment in console accessories (PlayStation Move...was only well-implemented for maybe only a few games )

TypeRNammer 08-06-2017 06:07 PM

I have a pro controller, it's definitely a hard pill to take.

The ergonomics and the battery life make up for the cost.

Tim Budong 08-06-2017 08:11 PM

for those longer splatoon sessions, i can see where the pro controller comes in handy..will pick one up later on..
is breath of the wild that good? i havent played a zelda game since NES... serious

extracrunchie 08-07-2017 08:21 PM

I would rather buy this than joy cons

https://gizmodo.com/this-snes-style-...ned-1795858424

https://www.amazon.ca/SNES30-Yikeshu...eywords=8bitdo

Ergonomics on the joy cons are pretty bad.
