In stock at BB, now. I made it through the check out with one. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/-/11470309.aspx EDIT: Gone. There was stock for more than 12 minutes, this time! |
At the Coquitlam Toys R Us. They're not doing the voucher thing apparently. Been here since 6am, 5th in line currently. About 20 people here so far. EDIT: Manager came out and started handing out vouchers at 730. Came back at 8 and got mine! Lots of people still in line without vouchers getting theirs at 8 though. Apparently there was 48 of them in total. |
Was thinking of going, but thought it would be lined up at 5:00 am. Damn, I should have gone. Oh well. |
Managed to pick one up this morning. Arrived at Toys R Us at 5:45am to find only six people in front of me. By the time the store opened, there were about 20, and then another 20 came, and when I paid, they were all out. There were at least 50 units avaialble to my knowledge. Wished they had a ticket system, but the staff were nice and handed out water for those who waited in line. |

Just seeing people scramble so hard to get one, lining up at 5am, signing up for spam sites... makes me just want to go get one LUL |
yeah pm's are already higher than you guys. LOL Before the restock, if I were you guys I'd pay a scalper a slight markup. All this time spent looking for one or even waiting for one, I wouldn't have bothered. I just spent 4 hours waiting in line for it on release day. Took half a day off, so $100 markup isn't too far off. |
Interesting... I have a unit that I am willing to sell..cause I'm poor and need to buy food. |
If you think this is bad wait till they release N64 mini lol |

when the nes dropped, it was 1 controller and the cables were short. snes dropped and it came with 2 controllers / longer cables Im willing to bet n64 will come with 1 maybe 2 controllers. prob gonna be hard as fuck to get additional controllers as well. FYI theres this n64 cartridge you can buy for around $150-200 and you can add/download any game via microsd and it works like the real thing. perfect if you already have a old one lying around. http://www.stoneagegamer.com/everdrive64-v3-basic.html |
I actually bought 2 at the Toys'R'Us when i was lined up behind Vansterdam because my wife came with me and she decided to be useful as a 2nd buyer and thought I would sell the second one to cover my own costs on the one I'm keeping... I listed at $180... then $170... then $160... had trouble selling it for even $150 on Craigslist... so the market is not as hot as you would think guys. I had people offering me $130 and even at $150 people were flaking left right and centre. Wasn't worth it for $40 profit, though the guy who did pick it up from me was super stoked about it so that was cool. |
i flipped a couple for 165 last week.. pretty easy sales |
