Officers allegedly spray “chemical or pepper spray” into a moving car as a family drives away. The family says they were leaving a Sam's Club parking lot after hearing sirens and whistles. A DHS spokesperson denies the allegations.

Circling back to this - there's been a number of comments/reports that she was an observer of ICE activities because it was assumed that she was blocking ICE. This illustration shows what the traffic situation was - the street was a two lane, one way street and there was an (ICE) vehicle blocking the lane closest to her as she was trying to exit her driveway - that's why she appears to be "blocking" the lane because she was trying to get into the left lane but had to cross the parking lane, the bike lane, and then the right lane.

I'm not certain if she was leaving her home or her son's daycare as there's some conflicting information there but there's absolutely ZERO evidence that she was interfering with a law enforcement operation or acting as an observer. She was, by all accounts just trying to turn right onto the street.

No one should get murdered for turning right (turning far right is a different matter).

She must have zero situational awareness if she didnt see the cops running around the street before she backed up. You could say she accelerated out of panic when she drove into the cop who afterwards shot her.

Either way sad outcome but now both sides are using her death to fuel their political goals.

I would have felt the same way, if it wasn't for the fact that this now-ruined country is our next door neighbour, our largest trading partner, and things are unfolding in the same timeline that I exist in.

Sorry, that's a total fucking crock of shit. She backed up to get out of the way because she was trying to wave cars past. The core of the incident lasted 5 seconds from the time the ICE agents got out of the pickup to when she got shot.

She accelerated because she got SHOT - she may have started moving before she got shot but the acceleration was after she was shot. It's why law enforcement specifically prohibits shooting into a car like that.

It's not fuelling political goals to say that someone shouldn't get MURDERED in cold blood by law enforcement because she made a driving mistake. That's complete fucking bullshit on your part to claim that.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. NOTHING in that video shows any justification for her murder. The most it shows is that she was aware of the shooter since he walked around the entire car (this was not clear before), she spoke to him and she's definitely not a fan of ICE (she was not JUST making a right turn - she was at least trying to be a nuisance).

Her murder is definitely not justified. But these two mothers are idiots provoking ice agents, even provoking a cop in the US would probably result in the same action. Knowing how trigger friendly they are the last thing they should do is trigger them and just comply. Look at their smug smiles, regardless of their political beliefs are not, what did was dumb just to double down on their narratives. They don’t care about the people around them, their dog, their child, their neighbors. How hard is it to just turn off your car and talk to law enforcement instead of risking your life.

While it is good to see it from the perspective of the ICE agent that fired the shots, to my untrained eyes and ears, I really cannot tell very much what had transpired in the mere split seconds of the video.

It is obvious the Honda Pilot very gradually started moving forward before shots were fired. At the same time, from previous videos, analysis, as well as from this video, in the very brief moments before shots were fired, we can clearly see Good (the woman that got killed) deliberately turning the steering wheel to the right by large amounts while getting the vehicle to start moving. Neither she nor the driving looked aggressive to me at all. Both of these observations suggest to me that she had little intention to deliberately hit the ICE agent with her vehicle. But I can't (and won't) rule out the possibility that she wasn't particularly concerned whether her pulling away would bump the ICE agent either.

I cannot tell whether the Honda Pilot actually struck the ICE agent at all. But it did look to me like Good's primary intention is to drive away from the ICE agents and from the situation.

The one is the front is a V6 too. I hope it wasn't a manual.

Definitely didn't need to be shot in the head, if you have the time to pull your gun, shoot and side step the vehicle all at the same time then you probably had time to just side step the vehicle.
