You only get a maximum of $0.925k cap relief for sending a player to the minors.

Edit: Also, the Canucks could've papered Boeser to the minors for a day, put Dorsett on LTIR, and called Boeser back up on opening day without risking Gagner at all.

Probably would be good to trade him on TDL if we retain some salary too.

As I expected, Bo Ho will not be the team captain this season. Edler, Sutter, and Tanev will be the assistant captains.

I think that coach Green and Benning made the right decision to go with three assistants instead of giving the "C" to Horvat.

Although Bo shows many good qualities as a leader, if the team has a really tough season it would wear down on a young captain after hearing all the damn reporters, and media types keep hounding the guy with questions about the team's performance.

I'll take blaming himself over Luongo's method of angrily staring down his own defenceman... Markstrom may not be the best goalie in the world, but he never tries to slough it off on anyone

God Erickson is fucking terrible.

Like you don’t even see him/hear his name ever during the game. I forgot he was even playing until I saw him sitting on the bench in the 3rd period

THIS... he was playing with Petterson and Goldobin... but when their line was on the ice it's just Petterson and Goldobin all over the puck... I only realized Erikkson was on their line when I saw Petterson lean over to talk to him about something on the bench.

He did make a nice curling shot down the ice for a line change without an icing at one point tho... that's gotta be worth at least $73k (~ his per game salary)

Some goalies are just like that... lol.
It's the hero mentality. Even if it's a 3 on 1, you have a chance to save the day and you didn't. It's not a bad trait.
