https://teamusa.usahockey.com/page/s...9-quinn-hughes Who care? He will bulk up and get stronger. Crosby isn’t the biggest player but good luck trying to knock him off of the puck. |

Has anyone here watched an NHL game at Madison Square Gardens? I'm going back to NYC in March and I wanna catch the Rags/Caps game on March 3rd. Just wondering how the stadium sight lines are for the upper bowl. |
Benning started contract extension negotiations with Boeser and his agent. :considered: https://www.nhl.com/news/vancouver-c...on/c-299769596 |
2 x $4.0.M would be a solid bridge deal. |
I'd give him the same deal as Bo. Tie him up for the next 6 years. |

The last time a player signed with fewer than 2 years of experience was Nick Bjugstad, who signed a 6-year extension after about 112 NHL games at the end of December 2014 ... and that contract has been a pretty mixed bag so far. Thanks to the lockout-shortened 2012-2013 season, that's the last time we had a flurry of long-term extensions after relatively short NHL stints. Landeskog (118 NHL games) - 7 x $5.571M Henrique (117 NHL games) - 6 x $4M Hodgson (139 NHL games) - 6 x $4.25M Nugent-Hopkins (102 NHL games) - 7 x $6M Landeskog has been good, Henrique and RNH have been okay, Hodgson was a disaster. Similar situations to Boeser's (both signed in 2014): Tyler Johnson (96 NHL games) - 3 x $3.333M Kuznetsov (84 NHL games) - 2 x $3M Brock is sitting at 71 NHL games and, as impressive as he's been so far, it's far more common to see a 2-year bridge deal in that situation than what appears to be an unprecedented long-term deal. heh .. our superstar that was never given a real opportunity to succeed, am I right? |
I laughed as well when I saw that, I guess we were lucky what we got for him. |
Players like him are niche players. In the right situation you might thrive, otherwise you’re a bust |
Anyone watch there YouTube podcast with bo recently? He talked about first year and getting sent down by torts. He came to camp and they had fitness testing. I believe running 2 miles? He was dead last. Whereas he saw hank and daniel won all the fitness testing. He learned that these guys in their 30s are kicking his 18/19 year old ass in fitness. He now knows how much harder he has to work in the off season to become an nhler Same goes with any prospect. They gotta put in the work. |

going to need a lot of the young guys to step up and put up the points lost by the sedins that's for sure! With the amount of forwards they have going to be interesting who gets sent down or traded. |
I'll be sad if a guy like Goldobin gets lost in the shuffle... that talent level is insane but it's not looking good for him. |

I can't see them NOT doing this. Just because those guys are fitness freaks |
