^ Ian McIntyre wrote a piece today that reported those close to TL said that he is upset and angry at JB for his betrayal. Implication is that JB had some sort of active or passive role in pushing TL out.

I think it's the same old story of meddling owners the Aquilinis that goes back to Nonis and Gillis. Here in Vancouver, the shelf life seems to be 4-6 years for hockey execs.

I think the media is being unfair to Benning, his words seem very genuine like he is actually hurt by the comments and his pleas otherwise are as passionate as I've ever seen from him. I think the TL firings has Aquaman's greasy hands all over it and nobody else's.

Also, this quote goes very much contrary to what the original media opinion was that Benning wants to make playoffs right away and TL wanted young guys:

Just cause you have the cap space doesn't always necessarily mean that you're going to get all the good players. If that's the case then SJ would've gotten JT with their 13m offer.

I think this is a case where we'll never know what's going on until years later when JB is also gone and/or Aquilini sells the team and nobody cares about pissing him off.

Still waiting for Edler to become the next Lidstrom lol god i hated always hearing that in the earlier years. I never was a fan of Edler just like I was never a fan of Jovocop when we had him as well.

Boeser's friends and teammates were in a car accident 4 years ago today that left 1 dead and 2 in critical condition.
