I do have to say I don’t feel good about the 200 applicants I got in 24 hours though. That’s a bad sign.

Have you ever encountered "content creators" asking for comped meals in exchange for saying "Run, dont walk" "hidden gem" to your restaurant?

^ if so, don't do it. Those IG foodie content creators are entitled spoiled biaaatches (mostly) who will order everything off the menu, bring take out boxes, and leave an effin mess. You don't want their cheap ass followers as customers either.

In the meantime, realtors are claiming that this fall the local real estate market is going to boom, just like they said this past summer, spring, and winter. This profession really attracts the brightest.

Yeah but it’s pretty much always politely declined unless it comes across as a demand, then it’s impolitely declined. The critic stuff has pretty much dwindled but back in the day we’d have writers come in and comp them.
Most of the “influencers” come in on their own accord and just eat like normal guests but with more photos. We never know who’s who though cause too many regular people take far too many photos anyways. Free advertising so I’m not complaining, but please just enjoy your food while it’s hot and the company at the table with you and it will be better for you.

Pet peeve. I've given my wife a hard enough time that she doesn't do it excessively anymore. Used to be like 5 minutes of it now it's one quick snap of both dishes and I can eat my food hot like it was intended.

I take pics of the food just to document the moment and appreciate the art of plating. I keep it as brief as possible lol.

I take photos so I can remember what I ate at that restaurant. Google photo makes it easy enough to find again so next time I visit I’ll remember what I’ve previously had.

Same I lose track of the restaurants I go to and the food I've eaten on my travels.

I just eat my food, and if by chance I go back to the same restaurant again and i've forgotten, well then it is a new experience again.

Nobody on instagram wants to see your fuckin food, nobody cares. Same with concert photo's, nobody gives a shit or wants to see 30 stories of gurgled music and people screaming.

The only photos I take in a restaurant is maybe when the food comes, and we get a photo or a selfie of the entire table so I have pictures of the people I'm with. Even this is in rare situations like someone's birthday. Not when I go out with some buddies to downlow chicken.

Labubu's are also the stupidest shit i've fuckin seen. God I cant wait for a nice long hard recession, cause some of you aint suffered enough if you are spending 100-300 bucks on an ugly keychain troll.
