Yours truly,

We were making fun of you for a bit at the Meet last week, was hoping you'd crawl out of that basement and show face.

Still trying to figure out why you'd say you're a female? Your whole schtick is so weird, even at trolling, you're just not that good.

MarkyMark 10-01-2025 11:21 AM

Textbook troll that has everyone replying to them hook like and sinker. Brought to you by the people who say "don't fall for the algorithm boomer!"

mikemhg 10-01-2025 11:22 AM

I'm surprised no one is talking about the scandal involving the Cons circumventing campaign finance laws by using Indian students as part of their schooling?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...date-1.7631453

Thought the Cons were against immigration? :lol

It's always bullshit and projection by these clowns.

Except no one is falling for their schtick, just telling them they are a loser over and over again.

People arguing with them every time is definitely falling for it. Calling them a troll and then still getting into it with them on a subject is some next level foolery.

Im personally against these scam diploma mills.

These shit tier schools are a complete waste of money and usually a scam anyways. Absolutely deplorable that this school is even accredited given what is described in the article but they just want that money and to exploit.

bcrdukes 10-01-2025 11:53 AM

I don't mean to add fuel to the fire, but I have experienced first hand what some of these diploma mills schools produce. My experience with candidates from these diploma mills are just God awful and not a reflection of Canadian values or work ethic in a professional setting. I say this from an apolitical position.

westopher 10-01-2025 12:02 PM

Anything that is essentially a fraudulent accreditation or educational institution shouldn’t exist and should be punished. I think everyone agrees on that.
It reminds me of the arts institute fiasco back in the early 2000s in my industry. They essentially just stole from people and provided them with nothing other than a supervised room to hang out in.

Badhobz 10-01-2025 12:05 PM

Well I went to a somewhat reputable institution and I’m still dumb as shit.

This is why it is important to select and attend a reputable post-secondary school that offers a co-op program and gives you the opportunity to work at top tier organizations that usually only recruit from certain universities. When you graduate with work experience and the relevant education, you become a lot more employable.

Useless. That’s just dumb luck. What’s that old Chinese saying, idiots have idiot luck.

I just keep failing upwards.

Would have starved to death in any other dumb ass 3rd world country long ago.

State of Condos in Vancvouer !! Let's see what happens in the next 3-6 months. Lots of fire sales? Good time to pick one up?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...2025-1.7647776

Executives in Vancouver's real estate industry are warning of a glut of newly built condos sitting unsold and empty throughout the region.

About 2,500 new condos are sitting unsold and empty in Metro Vancouver, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).

That number is double what it was last year, according to CMHC.

unit 10-01-2025 12:55 PM

im sure just about everyone here owns something so i think its unpopular for me to say it, but condos have to come down another 10-20% for people to start thinking it's a good deal.

if you could get a 2b/2ba 900sf condo for like $600-700k in coquitlam, burnaby, or richmond, that would actually be somewhat affordable.

paying $1.2m for that 900sf condo in brentwood is how stupid it got to at one point.

mikemhg 10-01-2025 01:37 PM

Wonder if we're finally going to have our own version of 2008 mortgage collapse here in Canada?

We avoided it the first time, perhaps those chickens have now come home to roost?

westopher 10-01-2025 02:07 PM

I think there may be enough understanding, and room to come down interest rate wise that it could be prevented for the most part, at least in places like Vancouver, but who knows. I’m just glad my down payment was 40% so I won’t end up upside down.

As my attempt to subtle flex, I've personally "benefited" from these scam diploma mills where I dated a Taiwanese girl. So I guess I don't have much of a right to criticize them?

Then again, it isn't like I have dated multiple Japanese gf's like certain other RS-ers, so compared to that, I am still a failure lol~

On the condo situation, the reality on the ground is -- construction costs are too high relative to what buyers are willing or able to pay. So until that situation gets resolved, the condo and perhaps even larger RE market will remain poor.

In a recent podcast that I had listened to, this developer consultant dude is blaming building codes that are too complicated and costly to meet, including some of the energy efficiency and de-construction requirements. He also blamed the community development fees (or whatever it was called) that developers must pay the city for. In his views, those are all costs that'll just eventually come back on the shoulders of the end user. In that regard, I guess I can't disagree with him

JDMDreams 10-01-2025 02:55 PM

It's just the cost, I doubt the price will drop below the build cost. So that will keep prices up, and we're fucked in the next 5 years once the market rebounds as there's no new supply being started now if they can't even move what they have now and costs stay high. So yes it is a gov problem, red tape and tariffs.

you talking about 69stylez? man fuck that guy... :okay:

wheres my drawing of that asian bitch who bypassed me and dukes and went straight towards 69style, who then promptly gave her the WRONG direction.

jing 10-01-2025 03:08 PM

It doesn't help that CMHC changes their funding policies willy nilly as well. Some have even speculated that this is so others with deeper pockets can swoop in when a project can't get funded and get in for pennies on the dollar. I know of many investors who took out HELOCs in the multi 6 figure range who are now facing near total losses after one boutique developer declared bankruptcy with $10M+ debt.

bcrdukes 10-01-2025 03:10 PM

Here you go.

Mr 69 shows her around and has a very very friendly interaction with this young woman.

Fuck this. Lousy Asian bitch magnet. Must be that white guy big dick energy.

I had to go up to her to tell her exactly where to go because my wife was literally waiting for me outside The Vancouver Club's entrance, which was exactly where she was going. She didn't even say thanks.
