^^ it should be prison tax credit, it's not a vacation, you're there for hard crime, work like slaves, go farm, chop trees, dig oil. Throw you onto deserted Island. Can't overdose if there's no drugs.
Part of it is certainly weather based, coastal cities have better weather, and skew liberal, that's more circumstantial than anything else.
There's also a social safety net element to it as well.
Go visit Austin smack within the chronically Republican state of Texas. It's got a major homelessness, and drug addiction problem. Florida ranks 4th on the list for homelessness, another Republican state.
I agree not a left right issue but perhaps the specific homelessness that goes along with it is more rampant in more liberal areas but that’s really just a gut reaction not
Based on any actual data.
Curious to know if the drug issues exist to the same extent in Europe. My sense based really on nothing ( maybe Hondas anecdotal evidence haha) is that Europe has less issues with meth and maybe fentanyl. From my understanding this seems to be more of a North American centred issue. I can’t imagine the rates of drug use in Scandinavia for example being similar to ours . But maybe the social safety net just does a better job at intervening early enough so it doesn’t spill out to the streets?
There are certainly drug issues in SE Asia , South Asia , Middle East but again it feels different. Maybe different types of drugs.
I probably could have clicked and looked at that link. Makes sense that Florida would be quite high on the homelessness . It’s a very large population and temperate ( compared to North Dakota in the winter anyway).
Yeah obviously not great and they still have to answer for whatever happened, but an illegal immigrant supporting everything that goes against him, and you know it's just because he's white.. These people are such dumb fucking cunts. That can't be overstated.

It's a stupid argument to make that a left/right issue.
The catch and release system and “light on crime” policies we have in terms of repeat property crime and even violent crime obviously don’t help the situation. You’re an addict, you break into homes to get your fix, you get arrested and instantly are released? Surely that will straighten that person out!
Also, again, using the states strictly as a comparison isn’t great. Texas and Florida are about as different to Canada/Vancouver than most places in Europe are.
Although.. I’m sure the situation on our streets is far more comparable to Texas or Florida than anywhere in Europe. So I’m here for that comparison hehe

Just saw this. A bunch of rogans buddies shitting on Austin Texas. Saying the homeless situation is worse in Austin then LA. Some have already moved back.
If you’re wealthy, is there anywhere better to live in North America than like a Malibu? Places like that are generally immune to the social issues they face. Unlike here where, although Jason seems to think if you’re wealthy you’re immune to the issues, I’ve seen homeless people all throughout the west side of Vancouver.
Rogan is just a schill at every level
When I was in Vegas the first time I went and shot guns at some place where two guys picked us up in a hummer. They were both old jar heads from the marines or some shit and they both grew up in California but now lived in Nevada because they couldn’t own the guns they wanted to in cali.
