A lack of air kills Covid too.

I wish these people would all go that route… just cut off their air supply… leave air to those lefty libtards… that would be just dandy.

To discredit that twitter feed, I would take this as they know what they are doing and the plan is for the whole thing to fizzle out and avoid direct confrontation.

The GoFundMe has been taken away, the resource train has been taken away.

It's actually back using a different website that calls itself the "#1 Free Christian Crowdfunding Site"...

And it's raised USD $4,717,642 out of the USD $16,000,000 goal.

Justin’s own MP’s dropping support

https://apple.news/A6V2CBncSSiKn-bCj5LL1ZQ

Justin’s address yesterday in parliament was pretty gross. He’s obviously not willing to actually address this in any way other than “we cannot let images of hate and swastikas in Canada”

That’s your take away from nationwide protest? I get it that everyone sees the one flag from one guy and automatically dismisses the entire protest even though it’s obviously far past a “fringe” minority. But this just underlines how divisive his politics are.

As I’ve said I don’t really support the protest, really couldn’t care less but the fact that like blockades are happening and there are nationwide protests in every city deserves a little more attention than just dismissing the entire thing as “hate”..

68style 02-08-2022 08:56 AM

Is it divisive when you ignore an idiotic 15% of the population?

The very nature of the electoral system as it currently exists is divisive... every single year as long as I've been alive at least 45% of the population is unhappy with the pick for PM.

Why is divisiveness itself suddenly a new thing? It's not new at all... however... people's views, I think, have gotten much more extreme in recent years which is just exacerbating a problem that's existed for decades. Politics in yesteryear used to be about wanting to be in charge, but still looking to make the country work/progress as an ultimate goal regardless. Now it's just automatic blasting of whoever is in power regardless if the decisions make sense or not and just a WWE style environment. It's gross.

What do the truckers even expect Trudeau to do?

Other than for returning across the border, the restrictions/mandates are all Provincial jurisdiction. And even that is irrelevant since the USA requires truckers to be vaccinated to enter their country.

Are these people dumb enough that they think he has some sort of dictator-level power over the premiers and can just tell them what to do?

Hondaracer 02-08-2022 09:32 AM

Would it not be more shrewd to come out and say sonthing like look, the USA has their own requirements, it’s not just us doing this. Maybe one day this will be lifted and this will not be an issue going forward but for the time being this is how it is and the USA essentially gets the final say in cross border traffic

Instead of “end this hate!!!” Lol

Eventually things will be lifted and dumb dumbs will claim it as a win anyways. But I HIGHLY doubt that commentary in the house did anything to defuse the situation

westopher 02-08-2022 09:39 AM

The 2 months of that being the message already happened, then a wexit supporter and a literal nazi decided to fundraise millions of dollars on a website that decided we don’t actually like the idea of this and returned the money to those that donated only to have people believe that Justin Trudeau quickly became the CEO of gofundme and personally stole all the money.
You think a nice chat is gonna solve this?

Hondaracer 02-08-2022 09:40 AM

What is going to solve it?

westopher 02-08-2022 09:42 AM

Nothing. It’s going to fizzle out as every other cause does in the world because people realize they don’t give as much of a fuck about it as they thought they did, or they need to get back to real life where you go to work to make money to pay for food and shelter.

JDMDreams 02-08-2022 09:48 AM

They can always send in officer Cain, he would love all those unnecessary noise tickets

https://i.imgflip.com/1kjig0.jpg

But yes I heard they were talking about revoking commercial license or insurance of all those protestors.

Manic! 02-08-2022 11:20 AM

These are the people who claim to represent all of Canada. What a joke. They say they want a meeting with JT and want to bring there own scientists. When do truckers have there own scientists? These people don't speak for truckers and don't speak for the majority of Canadians.

So if you can stand more than 10 minutes of this is starts at around minute 29

Once the rep from Quebec starts talking he starts to quote the liberal MP I referenced above who, as I said, is saying the leader of his own party, Justin, has been moving more and more intentionally divisive to try and make political gains.

Don’t know how to get much more cut and dry than someone within your own party calling you out. I agree with your post here about it turning into WWE and frankly I don’t know how anyone can sit through that BS, but when members within your party start to turn on you, kinda speaks to your leadership

Saskatchewan will end its vaccine passport policy on Monday, Feb. 14.

That means businesses, workplaces and other public venues will no longer be mandated by the province to require proof of vaccination or a negative test.

Currently, all Saskatchewan residents must show proof that they have received two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine to enter restaurants, bars and many other businesses. They also have the option to provide a negative COVID-19 test.

Those requirements will be removed Monday.

"We want things to be as normal as they can," Premier Scott Moe said at a COVID-19 update on Tuesday.

The provincial government confirmed that other current public health orders, including a requirement to mask in indoor public spaces, will remain in effect until the latest public health order expires at the end of February.

Moe said the public health order will not be renewed. He said that means rules like mandatory self-isolation for those with COVID-19 will also end at the end of the month.

Moe and Dr. Saqib Shahab laid out the plan at a COVID-19 update on Tuesday.

Saskatchewan has become the first province to reveal a plan to relax restrictions, although Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has said he will do the same later on Tuesday.

The province says eHealth Saskatchewan will continue to make proof of vaccination records and QR codes available to Saskatchewan residents to use where needed, including for travel and in other jurisdictions.

Moe said on Tuesday that it's time for the province to move forward and past the proof of vaccination policy, which he said "created two classes of citizens in the province."

He asked everyone to be understanding of each other's choices around things like wearing a mask.

"Don't lose a friend to COVID," he said.
