I am thankful not just for the Floyd family, but also for the US. Can you imagine the uproar that we would have seen across the whole US if Chauvin got off on the charges?

Only took the jury 10 hours to deliberate

OK good. Now they can start to work on police reform.

The trial judge literally went straight to the media and said "the defendant has a good appeal here" ... there is a LONG road to be run in front of this.

Appeals will happen, and lets see what with judge sentences him with, the system can still protect this man.

We'll see. But good on the jury though.

In other news, the AG just opened a civil case to investigate the Minneapolis police department for their recent abuses over the last number of years here.

Derek Chauvin sentenced to 22.5 years. Image how many times this happened and no one was there to film it.

Rittenhouse was cleared, as expected given the circumstances

If you followed the case at all, it's not how it was portrayed at all

If you watch from the 3min Mark of this Dore clip, it offers some interesting points
