H6, is this an A3?

I'd go for the larger battery of course.

Most shameless shit I’ve seen being returned are a CRT tv with the person arguing with the manager that he bought it before the electronic return limit policy came into effect and he should be grandfathered, dead plants/almost eaten food, piss covered mattresses, expensive TV + stereo being returned after a major sporting event. Other stuff I heard are amazon/ebay flipping gone bad being returned, fuckton of furniture bought for staging and being returned after.

Zero shame, imagine what the employees must see!

Great68 11-25-2025 02:41 PM

Speaking of returning shit.
Costco has the Michelin "Guardian" frameless wiper blades on sale right now, so I bought 3 sets to replace them on all my vehicles.

They are junk, they chatter like crazy right out of the box.

Sucks, the old framed Michelin Stealth framed wipers worked really well.

68style 11-25-2025 03:15 PM

Yah I never had much luck with wiper blades from Costco, don't last... I've always done well with upper tier Bosch... more expensive but get 3-4 years out of a set.

Yes those Michelin wipers are terrible. Out of 10 boxes probably 7 are noisy or unusable. The old stealth ones were excellent as you said.

bcrdukes 11-25-2025 03:30 PM

So...do you guys return them after they are done? :suspicious:

Badhobz 11-25-2025 03:31 PM

That’s the whole point.

bcrdukes 11-25-2025 03:33 PM

whitev70r - What would you do in this situation?

spoon.ek9 11-25-2025 04:00 PM

I ended up buying one of the Michelin wipers a few weeks back. Installed it just yesterday and it seems fine lol. Granted, this is for rear windshield and barely gets used but no issues so far.

whitev70r 11-25-2025 04:05 PM

I'd rather spend 2x the money on a decent set of bosch wipers than to go through the experience of returning anything at Costco.

You know Cdn Tire or Lordco will also take your returns if you're not happy with wipers (within reasonable time, not a year into it though) I have returned them before.

Great68 11-25-2025 04:22 PM

That's the thing, the last set worked great. It set my expectations that these ones should have been just as good.

Get out you fake Chinese guy!!!

I'm with White and Dukes, I don't understand the obsession with Costco.

Yes food court is cool, but for shopping, unless you got a family full of heathens, I don't see the point.

Ah yes, let me buy a big box/package of this crap that I'm gonna get sick of eating after 2-3 times of having it, then let the rest sit in my pantry/freezer until I never touch it again and throw it out.

Steaks were my main go to, but nowadays the steaks aren't even cheap there, and I got my hookup instead :lol

Crappy tire taking returns ?!? *Dismissive snort…. Those underpaid flips and buddy guy/gals will give you a million reasons to not accept returns. I opened the wipers with my ham fists hands last time and they said the packaging was too damaged for them to resell. no refunds!!!! Fuck you cambodian tire

I told them you can shove these wipers up their ass and left it with them

Costco only makes sense to abuse the return policy. If you don’t enjoy abusing idiotic policies of multi million dollar global company, then Costco is not your thing.

At Costco you can buy utterly retarded shit knowing that if you don’t like it even after 10 years, you can get a full refund. That’s the magic of Costco. It’s not about hotdogs and stupid cheap shit, it’s about abuse !!!’

yray 11-25-2025 05:18 PM

I just buy the bosch wipers from the clearance section at cambodian tire :lol

Badhobz 11-25-2025 05:18 PM

Those are the ones that people returned. People not like me…

Bro ... lay down on the couch ... who abused you when you were a child?

Badhobz 11-25-2025 05:28 PM

Everyone ? Old school Chinese. That’s why I’m the great humongous. Not like you sassy white people with your bitch ass morals and ethics. Pssshhh what did that do for anyone.

GS8 11-25-2025 09:29 PM

The costco in my town is great. One time, I took 3 trips there in 1 day. 10min in and out.

The downside is looking at how much Costco contributes to diabetes. They may as well have their own brand of ozempic :lol

Ah and I thought it was just me. My old Stealth set was worn enough to start chattering a lot but the new Guardian ones are, for new wipers, surprisingly noisy especially right when it switches direction. It's not terrible but definitely doesn't seem like they're new.

speaking of the steak connection, what ever happened to the "group buy" lol

and ya steak is crazy. it was $49.99/KG for the prime ribs(?) one weekend then went the next week end and it was $52.99/KG

6793026 11-26-2025 06:59 AM

i go to costco for few things.
Eggs, butter, milk, heavy cream and Parmigiano Reggiano
Now chicken thighs bone in are nice. Then boneless / skin less thighs for korean bbq are always legit.
Triple ply toilet paper and then lastly dish soap etc.

Beef are thick cut whcih is a bonus but for thin cut chinese 1 min steaks, i still go to chinese places as they are still a huge gap in pricing being cheaper.
