It's illegal to build a Costco without putting a Congee Queen next o it!

EvoFire 10-15-2025 10:58 AM

It's cause the Richmond one serves Richmond and most of Vancouver.

The Still Creek Costco serves the North Shore and parts of Burnaby and Vancouver.

A lot of ppl I've talked to choose not to go to the DT Costco. I've been twice and can't say I'm a huge fan of it. But it is nice when it's absolutely pouring though as the parking is underground.

CivicBlues 10-15-2025 02:04 PM

you guys sitting around bitching about why Costco is crowded is the same as drivers sitting in traffic complaining about traffic.

Bitch, you IS the crowds!

bcrdukes 10-15-2025 02:17 PM

yeah you goons
ride a bike or take transit to Costco next time :fuckthatshit:

Which Costco are you going to? I find the one in Markham gets pretty wild like Richmond. The one in Newmarket gets pretty wild too. That parking lot is a freakin' zoo!

Primarily Billy Bishop (next to Yorkdale mall), but Overlea sometimes too. Overlea is the worst, it's an inhuman experience.

bcrdukes 10-15-2025 03:08 PM

Overlea location = :inout:

I love those Costco CAT mats, they work better than any of the OEM trunk liners I used :lol

Badhobz 10-18-2025 06:32 AM

I bought 2 sets of those mats when we were moving 2 years ago, i recall they had an INSANELY strong smell when new. If you left it in the car, your entire car smelled like this weird cheap, plasticky/synthetic smell.

68style 10-18-2025 07:01 AM

That smell must turn you on now after all the blow up dolls

Interesting. I missed a call yesterday and listened to the voice message. Turns out Costco called me to let me know of a product recall (Korean style beef jerky.). Turns out there there is a possibility of metal shards in the product.

I got that voicemail as well. It showed up as suspected fraud, and I haven't gotten any notices from the CFIA about it, so it seems fake but oddly specific?

bcrdukes 10-26-2025 04:50 PM

Oh, it’s real.

I went to Richmond Costco yesterday after the 4th attempt. I always give up waiting for parking.

I go downtown. Way better, and parking is cheap + Richmond is the only Costco I’ve ever been too with non Costco sized parking spots. Wtf. If anywhere, that place needs it the most.

Richmond is the location I frequent most often lol. Maybe I'm just lucky because I rarely have to struggle to find a spot. Typically wait maybe 3-8 mins at the most on a normal day. However, I usually park near the outskirts of the lot. Less people dicking around once they've walked that far.
