Find the item number in the receipt (you can see your past receipts on costco.ca) and call any locations' Costco customer service. They can look up stock location by item number.

I hear the CEO of Costco is paying a visit to the Nanaimo location today.

Badhobz 10-31-2025 12:19 PM

Go get his autograph!!!!

bcrdukes 10-31-2025 12:42 PM

Why are you not on the ferry to kick the guy in the nuts and tell him how stupid his policies are? :suspicious:

CivicBlues 10-31-2025 12:46 PM

Wearing a suit to Costco? Burnaby full of mostly white people? RCMP writing parking tickets? EleGiggle

Man can't believe I was alive when this happened, it's like another world.

this one is rice based and it's better than any gluten free pasta we've had, and we've been only eating GF pasta at home for about a decade now.

Reading on the gluten free FB groups, seems like Costco has discontinued it, which totally sucks. But you can get it at London Drugs (on sale right now, I just bought a bunch).

bcrdukes 10-31-2025 01:24 PM

I see Badhobz in there somewhere.

Badhobz 10-31-2025 01:58 PM

The chinaman ah bak with the jew fro is epic.

I went to the Costco in Peterborough on a typical early Saturday afternoon and it was the most peaceful experience ever. Parking was easy, everyone was so orderly and friendly inside, gas station was a breeze, and it was like 99% white people. :ahwow:

Second this, I cannot tell the difference between regular pasta and this stuff... at some point I went to Costco in Calgary and bought 10 boxes of it because I was afraid they'd stop selling it.

I just saw this at Still Creek Costco this morning. There were only 2 - 3 packs / boxes of it though.

Has anyone successfully returned anything to Costco without it being in their account? Got a disgusting item from instacart and they didn't use my card when purchasing (usually UE shoppers will scan your card for the order, but this instacart guy didnt).

I don't know the answer to your problem, but I would be curious whether Instacart could help you out on this?

you can return anything at costco even if its not on your account. They just give you whatever the last "lowest" price is

6793026 11-03-2025 02:24 PM

what?>???

how?

don't they need to scan ur card and they have to scroll thru ur purchase history? *at least for Ontario.

Badhobz 11-03-2025 02:35 PM

Nope. I don’t know how they do it but it’s do able. I do it quite often with returning shit my
Mom bought me from Costco.

Instacart won't refund for bad quality of item, only if the shopper screwed up something like damage in transit or something.

Anyway, turns out the shopper DID scan my card but it takes up to 24 hours to show up on the costco website. Will be returning a couple of items tomorrow.

What the fuck happened to their "muffins"? My wife came home with one(!) tray of chocolate cakes.. er muffins.. and they were like 60% the size they were before and still the same price as two trays of the big honking ones.

Was she mistaken or did they really shrink them that much?

roastpuff 11-06-2025 10:04 AM

Did she really get muffins or one of the more expensive other options

6793026 11-06-2025 01:41 PM

Welcome to shrinkflation
https://www.keyingredient.com/upload...jpg?1560441737

still remember it was in paper wrap and now it's a plastic boxes.

Great68 11-06-2025 02:18 PM

Yeah they changed the muffin recipe. The old ones were like large cupcakes, not really muffins at all. The new ones actually track like a traditional muffin recipe.

supafamous 11-06-2025 09:32 PM

I like the new muffins better mostly because they come in sizes that I can actually finish before they all go bad.
