That looked like a game with purpose. Glad the Canucks could break the 10 game losing streak to the Jets.

Well he's played 11 games now... so unless they are burning the first year of his ELC for no reason I'd say he's staying the whole year!

Can't argue with being the most consistent player effort wise and 6pts in 11 games.

Hard to argue his inclusion in to the lineup. His work ethic is noticeable, every shift. He does not shy away from corners or going to the net and seems incredibly strong on the stick. Kid seems to be built like a fire hydrant, is as tenacious on the puck as BoHo, and has extremely good hockey sense. Reminds me a lot of Cliff Ronning or Theo Fleury.

Given our lack of effective forward depth I don’t think there’s any choice but to keep him up

I will say Montreal is getting away with a lot of hooks and holds that have been penalties all through the last few weeks. They've been getting called on some of them though
