Yah I think Friedman is being a bit of an ass on this one |
Perhaps he saw the layoffs at Bell and TSN and so just came up with clickbait to drive traffic to his content? |
Let's see if the break helped! If that siren was any indication though monkaS |
Great start so far! Passing on the PP looks clean once again. But that Markstrom is pretty dece |
That siren was lame as fuck........... if this were WWII, people would be dead........... |
How many shutouts does Markstrom have so far? |

So much for Markstrom's shutout........ |
The Official 2020/2021 Canucks & NHL Thread Uh oh, it looks like Myers has a left hand injury. NVM. He is back on the bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Boston conspiracy theories aside, it is incredible how often Myers gets called for penalties where Chara doing the exact same thing would’ve been considered just a bigger man playing the game. Grade A bull plop. |
Fuck this team sucks |

Canucks so good. |

Had so much hopes for this year after last year's success |
well, if they lose this series, benning's likely gone. maybe we'll get a shot at another top pick my god... are we the new oilers....? |
As much as fans are asking for Benning's head on a platter, I fail to see how firing him changes the product on the ice. The team has talent and skill, we've seen it. Is it the coach's fault or is it the players? Is it one of those situations in which the players have got to figure it out themselves. |

HOWEVER If they feel the need to just blow the whole thing up and start over again, then they need to fire the GM But just because he's made mistakes in the past, doesn't necessarily mean he'll continue to do so in the future. So he might be able to salvage this. The defense is SO BAD. My god. Does anyone here know enough about hockey to determine if all the defensive giveaways are due to bad scheming and coaching rather than just bad players? I don't... |
Is it bad of me to start looking at our pending ufa? Lol Pearson, sutter, edler and Benn Pearson for sure 2nd rounder Edler can prob ask for a 1st rounder. Fuck give you defensive forward Louie Ericsson for free too |
I quit the Canucks |
Goes back to what I mentioned last season: progress in the NHL isn't always linear. This is a prime example of that on the negative end. |
Lacking veteran leadership in the locker room to get this group out of the funk? Don't say, 'How about Edler ...' |

From a hockey fan standpoint, I can see that our team’s forecheck in the opponent’s zone is non existent. Opposing teams have easy entry into the Canucks zone because of a lack of a strong forecheck from our forwards. A great example of the lack of a strong forecheck was seen during our playoff series against Vegas. The Vegas forwards had over forty shots on Demko in each of games five and six of that playoff round because those forwards have easy entry into the Canucks zone. In addition to the lack of a strong forecheck, I think our defence men and forwards can improve on puck recovery in the defensive zone. There needs to be better work done along the boards to fight for loose pucks. To answer your question SkinnyPupp, why not put the blame on BOTH the coaches and the players? Lack of execution and good coaching. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
