That goalie interference call in the FLA/TBL game was downright embarrassing for the league, yah Bennett's stick is there but shit that's rough Between that and TBL being allowed to go $18 mill over the salary cap to start playoffs, really not helping optics for the league playing favourites............ |
Will be cheering for "anyone but the Lightning" for these playoffs once the laffs and coilers are gone |
Yah no kidding, Canucks get retroactively fined for a legal contract with Luongo after the league changes its mind... but TBL is allowed to leave Kucherov and Stamkos on LTIR when they're not even actually hurt. Great optics. |

They were over on cap and then Salo was injured, and on LTIR to get them under the cap. Maybe the Luongo cap recapture was the leagues way to say "we saw what you did there" |

Will be Cheering anyone but the Lightning, Leafs, or Bruins. The Avalanche made St. Louis sing the Blues. If Binnington did not make so many saves, the score could have easily been 7-1. McKinnon is in beast mode already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Also Salo isn't exactly Stamkos and Kucherov couple of nearly $10 mill players lol |

That Year both Tampa and Vancouver got screwed. As per usual Boston is always the one reaping the benefits |

Canucks with their bad contracts Protest the Acualini's? I butchered their names (The owners) |

I just call him aquavulva. Aqua Velva = cheap aftershave Vulva = outer part of a woman's vag Aqua Vulva............. pretty much sums up what I think of him, gulolol. |
I guess the bright minds at NHL didn't think of starting the North Division playoffs already since the remaining games between Calgary and Vancouver means absolutely diddly ... I mean yah, if they had playoff implication or seeding, then you'd have to wait but as soon as it was mathematical that Flames and Canucks were out ... then they should have kicked into Plan B. So by the time North Division starts, other series would be like 3 games in ... |
Im really hoping Edler gets his 100th. I think its pretty clear that he might be retiring after this season which he should. Very smart dman but hes slowed down considerably. Theres rumours of big changes en route for the Canucks. Im just hoping the rumours are true and Benning/Weisbrod are gone before we they let Clark leave. |
oh.. its Canucks game lol :lawl: |
I don’t want Benning to leave. His draft skill is undeniable. Anyone calling for him to be fired probably hasn’t put a lot of true thought into it. Bring Gillis back and we have one hell of a tandem. Or someone like Gillis as I don’t see him wanting to come back.. Benning being alone at the top is the problem because Aqualini is cheap af when it comes to front office. |

I agree that his Benning's draft skill is undeniable. He would make a great team scout. |
Sigh here comes the middle of the pack 1st round draft pick for the Canucks. |
I’ve been a big proponent of Benning’s drafting in the past, but there’s been significant discussion that the Pettersson pick wasn’t his pick and he also drafted Virtanen and Juolevi... both of those were massive massive misses given who was taken after them, so........... |
Rumour has it that the Sedin twins might join the front office. Not sure what I think of that, look how Trevor Linden experiment turned out. |

Juolevi had a string of bad injuries so not sure how you can fault it on the GM. Pettersson is his pick. No GM is going to let someone pick his 1st rounder for him. He got us Quinn. If JB ends up picking what fans wanted basically, we would the following players over the years. Nylander/Ehlers over Jake Tkachuk over Juolevi Konency over Boeser then... Glass over petey bouchard over hughes. The only thing that frustrates me is that he's such a good scout, why all these years we dont' have more picks for him to find gems in the later rounds. buy low sell high with them. |

I wouldn't mind if the Sedins came on as some sort of consultant/advisor role to learn the ropes and ease themselves into hockey management. Stevie Y and Sakic did the same things before moving up the chain. I think we can all agree that the Sedins come across as extremely intelligent and humble individuals, so I can see them doing well. |
