I don’t blame Horgan for the shitty state of BC first responders being equipped to deal with it. That was decades of bad policy making, but it doesn’t matter if people are aware of it if it’s taking ambulances 1.5 hours to get there, or 17 minutes to get an answer on 911. To not acknowledge that as the issue is fucking clueless.

Yeah, he should just talk less and let people who work with him, the experts, do all the talking. I'm not sure how bright Horgan is. Winston Churchill was not a smart man, either, but he was smart in one way. He had the sense to listen to his advisors and trusted them. He was good at speeches, that's for sure. Then, there's Dotard. He was stupid and advertised it openly. He didn't have good advisors, because he fired them all. Anyway, politicians............. nuff said.

Not all elderly people are created equal. My mother and people in her circle never watched the news. They didn't because they grew up without technology. Their world was not like those who grew up with books, good education, and good role models. My mother-in-law, on the other hand was always watching the news. She read constantly. Her brothers are also well educated. One is a newspaper editor, while one is a principal. They were all learned people. The one brother who immigrated to Los Angeles, opened up a small business that grew into a liquor store. Before he retired wealthy, he owned a strip mall.

Earth is our home. It's a house of people of different backgrounds living in separate rooms in a big house.

If that house gets hotter and hotter inside because of fires in one room, guess what, the whole house is going to be hotter, or worse the whole house burns down.

China and India can certainly help our home Earth avoid irreversible climate change by lowering their carbon emissions quicker.

It's not just China and India though. Our American neighbors produce the second most amount of carbon emissions in the world.

It's going to take a global effort from the U.S, China, India, Russia, and pretty much every industrialized country in the world to stop our home Earth from turning into an uninhabitable sauna.
