The biggest fail for the Laffs in game 7 was their inability to score on their power play. Their PP sucked.

If the Laffs have any chance of winning a series, they have to do it in 6. They just can't get over the psychological wall in game 7's.

Hard as it might be, they have to find a buyer for Tavares ... even if they have to eat a mil or two of his salary. The greatest sacrifice of the C might be to waive his limited trade clause so the Leafs can find a way to break through.

The stars on Tampa don’t really matter whether they contribute or not if you win lol. They contribute in other ways like Marner did with the pressure etc. but when you can’t elevate your game in the playoffs, which Marner is known for, I don’t think he has much more to provide

If a couple bounces went the other way and Toronto took the OT game it was over in 6... people would be saying the same thing about Toronto's star players... didn't have to do anything or contribute if they won lol

I dunno I watched every game and Marner stood on almost every shift he was out there. I'm aware of him not producing in the past, but he showed up this series...

Marner and Matthews cant do it all by themselves. Tampa's defence, goaltending and bottom 6 are far superior. Let's not forget Vasilevsky kinda shit the bed in the beginning of the series and was letting in some really questionable goals... he had what an .880 save percentage going into game 5? They will won and he showed up when it counted though, just too many weapons.

Toronto is a good team they just had REALLY bad luck like 5 years in a row.. There's a reason this has never happened before, it's a one in a million fluke.

If they decide to blow up the team and get rid of their best players, they may as well just disband

The only way the Leafs break through may be for Tavares to do the most sacrificial and altruistic thing ... a 'DeRosen' ... agree to be traded and Leafs get a stud D out of it ... and Leafs may have to eat some of Tavares' salary. I don't see how else they get better or break through.
