good god TIE GAME

RCubed 05-18-2022 07:55 PM

Holy fuck its tied

SkinnyPupp 05-18-2022 07:57 PM

As long as Connor McDavid can skate and carry a stick, the Oilers will have a chance in every game

BlackV62K2 05-18-2022 07:57 PM

Just tuned in and wtf this is a high scoring game

westopher 05-18-2022 08:01 PM

Oil still look so bad out there. Markstrom couldn’t stop a beach ball tonight.

pastarocket 05-18-2022 08:09 PM

7-6??? The score in game 1 is like an NHL regular season game…in the 1980s. LUL

It's funny that people are talking about Mike Smith when he was easily the best goalie of the night

westopher 05-18-2022 08:20 PM

Koskinen should never set foot on the ice again after this performance.
There’s a lot of goals but this is pretty bad hockey. Puck is bouncing everywhere and it’s just a clusterfuck. I’ll take a 3-2 game with a goalie robbing someone instead of just a bunch of muffins trickling in everywhere.

SkinnyPupp 05-18-2022 08:36 PM

Yeah nobody wants the whole series to be this way, but once in a while a clown fiesta is fun, especially in a rivalry game

I wonder if they'd kept Smith in there if things would be different? Oilers were sloppy as fuck but Koskinen and Markstrom were both awful

bobbinka 05-18-2022 08:39 PM

Very satisfying results

pastarocket 05-18-2022 08:39 PM

This is truly the Battle of Alberta. Kassian shoves Lucic after the big goon
slashes his stick on an Edmonton player.

Awwww yeah, plenty of bad blood between the Coilers and Flambe.

Lucic is such a goober

keifun 05-18-2022 08:40 PM

Lames won. 69 BABY!!!
:lawl:

spoon.ek9 05-18-2022 08:40 PM

fans got their money's worth tonight :lol

Gumby 05-18-2022 09:12 PM

This is the type of game players love to play in, but coaches absolutely hate...

Teriyaki 05-18-2022 09:30 PM

Man this series is going to be fun to watch.

I seriously don't know how to feel about both teams.

You got goons in Kassian on EDM and Lucic on CGY.
CGY has Tanev,Toffoli and Markstrom that are some familiar ex-Canucks
EDM has Kane that is surprisingly some underdog story in progress since everyone expected his career to be dead

Kind of hate that CGY is Vancouver 2.0 and that punchable face Lucic is there now.
Yea, I think the distaste for CGY is stronger so go EDM go?

Tegra_Devil 05-18-2022 09:30 PM

Woot

mb_ 05-18-2022 10:22 PM

MOARRRR!!!

SkinnyPupp 05-19-2022 04:39 PM

Panthers getting totally outclassed, but Bobrovsky keeping them in it. And now Vasilevskiy just let in a bad one and it's a tie game

SkinnyPupp 05-19-2022 05:25 PM

Save of the year by Bobrovsky just now.. holy shit!

SkinnyPupp 05-19-2022 05:33 PM

And Tampa wins it with 5 seconds remaining

Bring out the brooms, this is over.. Next 2 games are just procedure

For some reason I was 100% sure this would happen.. I just had the feeling

spoon.ek9 05-19-2022 05:35 PM

3.8 seconds to be exact. what a dagger to the heart of the panthers

tarobbt 05-19-2022 05:45 PM
