Whatever happened to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins? I remember he was a hot prospect before I stopped watching hockey, but now I came back and he's not exactly a total flop, but pretty close to it.

Smith used up all his luck in the first round ... he had 7 games before the clock strikes midnight and he would return to the old bumpkin Mike Smith.

He was bad in game 1 in that round too, he'll be fine. This wasn't all his fault either, except the 3rd goal pretty much

Nuge has had an awesome season. He’s not the point getter he maybe is expected to be right now, but he’s not being utilized as that either. The fact a little finesse guy like that can hop into a grinder role says more than the numbers do.
The numbers aren’t bad either. He was .8 PPG this season on the third line and has 5 points this playoffs already. Far from a flop.
