If there's any silver lining for us Canucks fans here, I'm glad we have Demko. We just need to get back into the mix lol.

westopher 05-26-2022 09:01 PM

Sucks when it doesn't go your way. Kinda like in 2017 when kesler pushed the puck over the line with his hand while moving talbots leg into the net.
Take them when it goes your way. And it was a kick, but it easily could have gone either way.

spoon.ek9 05-26-2022 09:08 PM

I love that Canucks fans are bringing up Joel Otto on twitter right now :lol

SkinnyPupp 05-26-2022 09:08 PM

IMO they should just allow kicked goals.. It's not like it's a dangerous thing to do or anything, just a skill to develop.

This was a goal......

NHL lacks consistency and the Coleman disallowed goal just shows how bad it is.

Ah you see, this was VGK. Rules don't apply to them.

Come on... This isn't soccer. What's next?
Headbutting the puck counts too?

Haha, it's almost comical how they all celebrated like it was over when they all know that's blatantly no goal.

Woodcroft getting some Lady Luck from the four pretty blondes behind the Oilers bench.

its most likely a safety issue where goalies are the ones covering the pucks up with there glove or blocker and u cant have players with skateblades as sharp as knives kicking at the puck

Maybe only allow it outside the blue?

I dunno just trying to come up with something that takes out judgment calls like "kicking motion" because obviously some refs are clueless, and it leads to confusion...

Just simply ruins the game.
Then you'll have players dangling with their stick to their feet and booting the puck in. Or forwards tying up dman's stick just so they have their legs free to kick it in. Open's a lot of new strategies if kicking is allowed.

I mean, sure, it's another skillset. But it's not hockey.

RiceIntegraRS 05-26-2022 10:45 PM

Im just really glad this didnt happen to the canucks. I wouldnt be able to sleep tonight,

Totally not arguing with you but I'll just say if you watch some hockey from the 80's, 60's, 40's, etc..

It's probably not much the same game at all compared to when the Stanley Cup was created (I think they had 6 forward skaters at that time)

Ugh how does Holtby get the #1 save of the year lol

spoon.ek9 05-27-2022 06:11 AM

because he's no longer a Canuck FeelsBadMan

pastarocket 05-27-2022 07:03 AM

An iconic moment in the playoffs.

McDavid had a relatively quiet night compared to other games in this series until he scored the OT winner.

-heck of a pass from Draisaitl to number 97:

Last Canadian team in the playoffs though... why? It's not like it's the Leafs.

Blues looked bad until they got a power play, then they took over and are now up 1-0!

westopher 05-27-2022 05:02 PM

Draisaitl hits 17 points in a 5 game series for a record
26 points so far for drai and McJesus.
Gretzky was the last player to hit 20 points in fewer games.
19 assists each for drai and McJesus, the highest point getter in the playoffs besides them has 15 POINTS.

SkinnyPupp 05-27-2022 05:38 PM

WHAT A FANTABULOUS SAVE BY KUEMPER!

Oh, Singher

SkinnyPupp 05-27-2022 06:41 PM
