This is what happens when the league doesn't do anything about TB.

Well, he wasn't totally off if the rumours were true that the Flames and Knights were both in it to the last minute trying to outbid the other?

Flames should be happy that they lost this auction.

Nah man.

He jumped onto the train that the flames was a finalist. He then inserted his own thoughts on who is involved.

Given the actual return, there's no way that Tkachuk would have been part of that package. If he was, Eichel would be a Flame already.

Ok, I was wrong about the problem with the PP1. It's not 100% Chiasson, a huge part of the issue is also Miller.
Miller isn't shooting from the left side, so the PK hedges over to Pettersson & Hughes even when Miller has the puck. He has a ton of open ice/space to skate in and shoot but he remains stationary and looks for the back pass back to Hughes. There were a few times the other night where the high PK player almost picked off the back pass back to Hughes on the same shift.

LeBrun: Well one part that was certainly not true is that Matthew Tkachuk was never part of any offer from the Calgary Flames to the Buffalo Sabres. Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams himself said that to Buffalo reporters on this day.

Said it once, I'll say it again. Kevin Weekes is full of shit.

SkinnyPupp 11-05-2021 07:34 PM

First PP unit looked great, keeping control in the zone and a couple good chances

Second one, the guy just passes to the Nashville player FailFish

Those dmen did play it totally horrible though… I mean come on even at lower levels you look at the guys middle of his chest and push through… those dudes were expecting the one before them to get it right and then caught flat footed when they didn’t… lazy

Razor Ramon HG 11-06-2021 09:29 PM

To be honest, I feel that Rick Nash's goal is still better.

haha I agree. Although I usually try to test the Dman to see if I can walk down the middle like that every game. The good ones made damn sure I pay the price if I tried something like that.

Alpine 11-07-2021 09:55 AM

I'm also huge fans of Spezza's and Ryan's dangles:

There's something so smooth about how they moved the puck from one side of their body to the other... it's almost elegant. Mckinnon and Mcdavid dangle with quick (almost manic) hands and speed, but there's something beautiful about Nash/Spezza/Ryan's moves lol.
