I think the team/players has to take some of the heat ... on paper, they are not bad. Better than last year removing the duds like Eriksson. OEL is not doing bad, Garland is doing well .. Boeser, Petey are getting C- right now.

Seems like the window of leveraging young players toward success is closing or closed.

Is there a particular reason Horvat doesn’t play on the PK?

I mean for a Captain he’s sure not getting any opportunities to lead by example… anyone new to hockey would assume that JT Miller is the Captain.

Seems like something any NHL player should be capable of learning… I mean if you understand offensive tendencies you’re already a leg up knowing what lanes and angles they will want to use and just get between them.

They said he was overly aggressive on the PK.

Loui was supposed to be good on the PK but I recall he sat in the press box quite a bit.
