Went to this game yesterday - first time in Rogers Arena since 2019 which was a treat!

Frustrating to watch Pettersson out there. He seems lost and you can tell his confidence is very low, he was having a difficult time making simple passes or holding onto the puck. He needs a couple lucky goals to get going.

Watching Garland live is even better than on TV. His edge work is crazy, starting and transitioning directions on a dime. Huge work rate.

Only way this team will get back on track is if their best players start scoring. Right now it looks dire, nothing from Pettersson, Boeser, Horvat, Pearson. Are they hoping Lammikko starts lighting it up??

Either way he might be skilled, but he doesn't have the grit and toughness. Just like the sedins, when come play offs, you play them hard and they are done.

But the Sedins would work on their weakness over the summer and get better, not sit around and bitch about not playing on a winning team. If he's serious about winning then he should've signed the contract and show up to training camp or be game ready if he was going to sit out camp and preseason. How much more "rust" does he need to shake off? When's enough is enough and start showing up and putting an actual effort in and being a leader with the "C"?
