Caps were on a losing streak (not sure how many games) and they were hoping for a win that night but lost but was/still considered one of the most motivational locker room speeches ever. |

Is it Ratfaces prerogative to try to injure a player every time he plays us? |

The Official 2021/2022 Canucks & NHL Thread Jim Rutherford? Hmm. New Jim would replace Dim Jim. LUL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Official now, President and interim GM till he hires someone he can mentor. |
I was concerned we were bringing him in and that his departure from the Penguins had something to do with the Skalde situation... but upon further research, apparently not... so that's a relief. Seems like a very well liked guy. |
3 cups under him. Now we plan the parade! |
A little nervous if he was named the GM. Although he has a bunch of Stanley Cups under his belt, I wouldn't call him a builder, more of bringing in the right assets to take a team over the top. His moves in the last 3 years as Pittsburgh's GM were a bit suspect sometimes. As a President, can't fault the hire and give it a shot. Perfect guy to mentor a younger GM. Plus, Sportsnet said he gets full autonomy over operations. Aquaman can't play GM anymore which is amazing. Rutherford seems like the type of guy who wouldn't put up with any bullshit. |

Welp Stan Smyl didn't have that title for long ...2 days? I think this is good, the younger exec team will get to learn from a veteran GM. |

I went to the game last night (first game in almost two years) and talk about a nice feeling being back. The crowd was lively (other then the annoying Bruins fans behind me) but man it felt good sitting around random people cheering on the Canucks. I have to sad the having to wear your mask at your seats is stupid as hell, you can hold a drink/food but once you are done put your mask on right away.. What's the difference? You already had it off for so long, I sat there nursing a drink the entire time and they said nothing about it. I so hope that rule changes soon. |
The two games I’ve gone to so far were in the club seats and the ushers basically go out of their way to NOt enforce the masks lol..don’t want to make the club seats unhappy. I heard in other sections people were being reminded of it but it’s pretty much impossible to enforce. With that said I was getting pretty lit about half way through the game and figured I didn’t need anything else to drink so I wore my mask for most of the last half |
in the 3rd I had it pulled down with my nose uncovered and no one said a thing to me about it. |
I didn't even know about having masks on even while seated when I went earlier this year. Ushers didn't say anything to me and my seats are 2 in from the aisle so easy for them to see me and enforce |
I went to two games this year. Yeah they say you gotta wear your masks while seated except when you're eating/drinking, but its not enforced. I saw lots of people around me with no masks on but holding on to their beer/hotdog etc. |
bonnie henry was at the canucks opener and was caught not wearing a mask..thats the leader right there |
