Shutout for Demko! His second career shutout!

Good win.

Boeser snaps a 13 goal drought. Miller scores.

Two for four on the PP.

First win for Coach Boudreau.

Stanley Cup, here we come

eclipseman 12-06-2021 08:33 PM

Solid fucking game all around.

mb_ 12-06-2021 08:39 PM

Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come in the BB era

spoon.ek9 12-06-2021 08:41 PM

fans were chanting "Bruce, there it is!" :lol

SO many positive storylines tonight. What an amazing turn around.

Boeser gets a lucky goal, huge weight off his shoulders.

Garland keeping the good times going with his usual nose for the net

Petey and Horvat getting PK time, Petey drawing the penalty shot almost immediately. Absolutely would have blown the roof off had he scored on that.

Lammikko with a goal? what? :alonehappy:

Miller with an absolute rocket of a shot

Demko with a WELL deserved shutout to finish off quite the amazing night.

Teriyaki 12-06-2021 08:45 PM

So happy to see the BIG W. Just goes to show a lot of the slump was just mental with all the noise and staleness all around. First day pep. Now the real challenge begins.

spoon.ek9 12-06-2021 08:58 PM

hell, even the buzz in this thread right now is improved. close to 60 people viewing :lol

Hondaracer 12-06-2021 08:59 PM

I would have been on board for a playoff push if petey had scored on that penalty shot

CorneringArtist 12-06-2021 09:01 PM

BBQ Bruce bump! This could have the same kind of knock on effect that the Whitecaps got after they canned their manager.

SkinnyPupp 12-06-2021 09:13 PM

I give the Canucks an 88% chance of winning it all this year

68style 12-06-2021 09:55 PM

Haha Petey remembered how to move his feet/skate! Miller came back hard on defence! The defence played defence!

All we had to do was hire a nice old man.

AzNightmare 12-06-2021 10:20 PM

Bruce, there it is!

whitev70r 12-07-2021 07:48 AM

^ that's hilarious. Last game, jersey thrown on ice ...next game, the fans are having fun again.

Expresso 12-07-2021 08:50 AM

All is good till the next losing streak.

But seriously it was like watching a different team play.

6thGear. 12-07-2021 10:39 AM

I missed some parts of the game but was there an Edler tribute video?

Can't believe we let Edler walk but got Myers for 6M :concentrate:

What I Heard from watching Boudreau’s
Press conference yesterday after the win against the Kings is that this guy has a positive energy.

His coaching philosophy is that if defensive mistakes come about from hard effort or laziness as he said, defensive errors are correctable.

The coach said that he will use a rotation of our top forwards to kill penalties. He said that he told Boeser that he is next on the PK for upcoming games. LUL

Boudreau’s rationale for using more skilled forwards on the PK is that those players put pressure on the other team. When our skill guys force turnovers with an aggressive forecheck, scoring chances can be created for our forwards on the PK.

-definitely noticed the PK units aggressively
forechecking compared to the passive, sit back style that the PK units followed under Green.

Still got a big hole in our defense. Is there any good prospect defenseman we develop?

It was Edlers choice to test FA. Supposedly he was offered a contract but maybe it wasn't good enough? We say can't believe Myers getting 6mil. What if Edler re-signed for 6mil a year? Everyone would still be up in arms. Elder has always stated he wanted to stay in Vancouver but why the sudden change of heart when July 1 came around?

Hondaracer 12-07-2021 08:46 PM

Should he far more upset giving Hamonic and Poolman their contracts over keeping Tanev
