He said he's Canadian and has never coached in Canada. I think he wants to coach for the Canucks. Being such an offensive coach and with the players the Canucks have I think he's perfect for the job right now and exactly what Petey needs in a new coach.

What ever works, all I know is he's going to be playing the fuck out of Petey and not these 13mins a game playing on the 3rd or 4th line.

rumors are Petey was pissed as hell about the 3rd line demotion. Watch him tear it up starting tonight and we pull a St. Louis. We have the goalie to do it so there is still a sliver of hope.

Of course he was pissed off, Green was horrible at treating your star players like star players and the worst at player deployment. I think this coaching change is going to be massive and we are going to see a difference on the ice quickly.

It's bigger then just Petey, it's the entire team dynamic that needed to be changed. it's known some players are divas weather you like it or not and Green's tactics were not working at all. He was basically doing more harm then good and he was way too stubborn to see that.

I am also interested to see what Scott Walker can do as an assistant coach to improve our special teams.

Our team is dead least in the NHL in penalty killing. 64.6%

This team had better improve their PK under the new coaching staff if they want to win games.

It won't matter if the team's goal production improves if you keep giving power play goals to the opposing teams. Good luck trying to outscore the opponent every game.

I wonder if BB and Walker will ask to bring/choose in their own assistants once things get rolling? Both coaches are known to be players coaches

Yah that looks like the first line. The next two are 2nd and 3rd - Motte's line is definitely the 4th line.

I heard that Podz, EP, Garland line was line 3.

But aren't the line order kind of arbitrary. The coach ends up putting which ever line he sees fit for the situation and for however many minutes he wants the players to play in a game?
