Gaudreau walked for nothing, and Tkachuk handcuffed the team by publicly saying he won't sign long term and only wants to go to X teams.

Tkachuk on the other hand? I think the writing has been on the wall for a loooooooong time with him... at the all-star games when he was participating in things he made comments that sounded like he preferred to be around his family and Keith has meddled in both Brady's and his careers quite a bit... then you think back to when he got in a few scrums and his teammates hung him out to dry / probably tired of his antics like everyone else is and he had a hissy fit at his own bench, slammed the door on Gaudreau before storming to the dressing room... he didn't even show up for the playoffs after the first round this past season, just coasting around out there I think he had 1 assist the last 4 games against Edmonton.

I'd like to laugh at Calgary, but there's a serious problem for all Canadian teams stemming from this. The league is not balanced and is stacked against teams in Canada.

So it looks like the bigger story/picture was that 7 ballerinas are suing a couple who ran a Ballet dance school ... wow the shit that goes on behind closed doors in gymnastics, swim clubs, and ballet/dance schools. I remember our city's well-known Goh ballet was exposed for a sexual misconduct scandal involving a teacher.

Honestly...it's a really shitty world out there for women. Yes women can vote and there are more opportunities in men dominated industries but as a father to a little girl. It's a fucked up world out there. The abortion debate in the states to how girls are treated in India to Epstein and all the shit you hear from Katz to Nygard.

Yes, when I started a family with the wife eons ago, I was pretty excited. Then as the years went on, I was like, "What the hell did I just do?" Bringing children into this truly fucked up world. Then I saw the light.............. changed my outlook to, "My children are going to make a positive difference in this world. They are not going to be a burden to society or part of the darkness that is taking over." If enough people follow this positive thought, we will be okay. Teach your children right from wrong and don't let those who think of nobody else but themselves become the majority. There was a time in my life I lost faith in humanity. There is hope. And it starts with each and every one of us. Worst thing we can do is give up.
