Watching the Aussie game on PVR, atm. Cot Dam.......... great expectations and sure as the sun rises, Ohtani hits a three run homer on his first at bat.
Wow, fan sharing the home run ball with other fans (for selfies)........ such respect between them. Here in NA, fans be stabbing each other for a ball.I wAnder if Ohtani is more popular than the top sumo wrestler. Baseball is huge in Japan. BTW, I got me a Shohei Ohtani Funko Pop at Showcase in Lougheed. On sale for $9.99. They had a couple of them left as of last week.

Canada not Mexican Lucky................
Lost 10 -3 today. All but out of quarter finals. I hope the Mexican team continues to dominate. Kick some gringo butt.
Up all night to get lucky.................. when I first heard that song when it came out, I thought the lyrics were that. Mexican Lucky. Not the only one to think so, apparently......

Adios Muchachos.
9th inning comeback for Japan. Japan vs USA for the championship tomorrow.
Ohtani leads off the inning with a double. Next player is walked. Coaches put a pinch runner in (got the winning run). Murakami, a huge hitter for Japan was shutout 0 for 3, but he came through and hit one deep into centre field. Walk off win!!!
Amazing game. Looked like Mexico was going to win...............
Sasaki, deemed as the best pitcher in the world. 102 mph, but Mexico took a 3-0 lead. Arozarena amazing catches to take away homers..........
So much going on in this game. Mexico went into the 9th inning with a 5-4 lead.

Baseball is america's game.................. first wound - Blue Jays, a Canadian Team, wins the World Series (2 years in a row, no doubt). Now Losing the World Title on home turf. Does it get any better than that?

I literally screamed at the top of my lungs when Shohei struck out Trout.............. neighbours were probably worried, 'cause I'm usually as quiet as a catholic church mouse. That's okay, I have to listen to their screams whenever Italy plays in the World Cup of Soccer. Surrounded by Italians, I am............

Looking forward to the season. Spring Training has been an eye opener with players trying to adjust to all the rule and dimension changes. Split squads and whatnot........... this year's team is going to be exciting to watch.
I know it was hard to find out Cheech is gone after this season, but man, if Buck ever goes, Imma gonna cry......... got a scare last season with the cancer thing.
When Bongo boy got let go last season, it was kind of sad, but Schneider is a much better manager.
Blue Jays' Ace in the Hole, might be Hyun Jin Ryu. He's recovering from Tommy John Surgery, slated to come back late season. He used to be a good pitcher. Shit the bed last season due to the injury............ https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/heal...reconstruction
