Schneider 7 for 11 in three games. Bases loaded, he's up, and ,and, and............. he gets hit by a pitch. Red Sox are all messed up now. 9-1 Blue Jays.
Update: 11-1 top of 5th with 2 outs. No Bichette, no Vladdy.
Haven't seen Jamie Campbell toss the broom in a while.

In the history books with 9 hits in his first three MLB games. "Babe" Schneider, lol.
Playing with a glove he got from a lost and found bin. Old, beat up glove. It even has the letters "VUK" engraved on it. Bin there for over a year. Davis picked it up and I believe it has brought him some crazy luck. The Jays really needed this. Good story all around. Good for the minor league players, too. The rest of the Jays are pumped up. Everybody has to take it up a few notches. wAnder how the batting line up is going to look like tomorrow. 4 game series with the Indians, I mean, Guardians.

What the hell? That wasn't your usual nothing but a basic brawl thing. Some pretty good haymakers thrown. One guy had to be kept vertical - groggy or what? I heard about the meleé, but never bothered to look it up and watch it. Usually baseball brawls are just guys trying to look tuff. Damn.
Found a clip, not as good as the one Sportsnet showed in pregame show just now, but. ESPN.

Owner of that glove Davis Schneider uses has been identified. It belonged to a former major leaguer, now deceased. All sorts of little connections to that glove and owner. I bet that's why this kid is doing so well. Spirits, man................. scary stuff. That glove has blessed the kid. In the lost and found bin for a long ass time. To be picked up by Davis Schneider. Nobody else wanted it. Can't make this stuff up. The son of the glove's owner, if I heard it correctly, was a roommate of John Schneider, Blue Jay's coach. John got a text from his former roommate telling him he knows who's glove it is. It's my dad's glove!
i think he's going be OK - looked nasty tho. plunked twice by comebackers in 1 game.
the schneider story is perfect timing for a big time team inspiration. They've been lacking and he's jazzed the whole team back up. Best thing to happen to the Jays this summer.

Anyway, three brothers from Mississauga. Two of them are in the majors playing on the same team (Cleveland Guardians). The third (yongest) is in the minors. Apparently he's a good player, too. Josh, Bo, and Myles.
Thinking how cool the unassisted double play to first base by Biggio was last night, I looked up unassisted triple plays.

Bases loaded with one out and they couldn't muster a single run. If they had kept Davis Schneider in the line up, one run might have made the difference. Lol at the fake moustaches worn by Blue Jays fans.
Blue Jays fans are the best! Doesn't matter what ball park, they come out in droves and do their best to support the team from the Great White North (no racist intention). That would be The Great White Hope......................

Finally, a Springer Dinger!
I was on the road, so only heard it. Gotta hand it to the guys over at Sportsnet. Listening to a ball game via radio - something nostalgic about it. I swear the guys were reporting on how many droplets of sweat was on Springer's face. Something like 15 pitches? Way to wear out the pitcher and up the pitch count...............

I checked my PC Optimum app for this week's offers. First thing that shows up is an offer for a free 3 month subscription to Apple TV. It said for new subscribers only. When I first purchased the Apple TV+ streaming device, it came with a free 3 month subscription. I didn't bother to register it. Now the offer has expired. I had mistaken my 3 month free Apple Music offer that came with my HomePod mini's with the Apple TV offer. I tried, and it works. Gonna watch the Jays struggle to win again this afternoon. Thank you PC Optimum. Gotta make sure I unsubscribe on the 11th of November. Don't want to give a red cent (not penny as in US currency) to those fokkers. While I'm on a rant, fuck you, too, MLB, for allowing this to happen, you greedy little fucks. I already pay to watch sports on Shaw. That should be enough........ double dipping fucks! /rant

WTH? I can't watch it via the Apple TV+ box. What's the point? I did get it to work via app on the TV. Also, what's with the girl in the pregame? Bordering on skanky..............girl has footwear with heels as long as Mandingo's dick. I haven't seen her walk in them, so they're just stilts, gulolol.

Even if they squeaked into a wildcard spot they don't have the offence to make it far at all. They keep talking about "if they all get hot at the same time"... Yeah sorry it would have happened by now, these guys just aren't the hitters they've been in the past anymore.
I hope they don't get sucked in to giving Vladdy a big contract, I don't see him ever being the 40+ homerun guy he was that first year.
