typical experience is $200-$300 + food cost. tmrw will be $15 + food cost. that's how I look at it. I'll probably buy something since I won't have time to do it before arriving. |
everyone still gets a free towel correct? |
Not if you show up late. Bunch of them went missing and some people around me were pissed they didn’t get one. |
I watched Canada win gold from there in I guess it would have been 2002? It was really damn fun. Fuck that was 22 years ago, jesus |
Had opportunity to buy tickets to game 7 and round 2 with the season ticket presale code. Seemed like they were getting snapped by quickly Too poor after that game 1 though lol |

Silovs definitely was a bit more shaky in game 5, but I wouldn’t expect much more from a young goalie still finding his game in the AHL. For the amount of chances Nashville had, if I remember I believe the canucks his 2-3 posts as well. |
??? He allowed 2 goals and over 900 save %, how is that shaky? Looked calm and collected to me |

He looked how he looked, regardless of the score I don't know why people are pretending he is this phenom who has taken over the playoffs.. He's not. He's an AHL goalie who got called up, and is doing enough to keep them in games, with some shaky play at times. Goaltenders can be shaky and barely get scored on, or even get shutouts. Sometimes the opposing team will barely miss, hitting a bunch of posts that got by the goalie. I thought Saros was shaky with his rebound control; the Canucks just weren't able to capitalize on it last game. |
I don't think anyone is saying he's the second coming of Christ in there but as a third string goalie he's exceeded expectations given the situation he's been thrown in. |

I don’t really see when you keep saying “shaky” I’d consider Shaky is when you’re bobbling pucks or not controlling the puck after you’ve given up a goal or just generally looking hesitant in challenging, which, I don’t feel like we’ve seen yet from Silovs? |

I do keep saying that he is not as good as Demko, as Demko is one of my favourite goaltenders I have ever seen, and watching DeSmith and Silovs makes me appreciate him even more. I keep getting told that the expectations should be low.. Well of course they should, he's a 3rd stringer AHL call up. But actual performance has nothing to do with expectations.. You watch him play, and see what you see - solid at times, great rebound control at times, but also out of position and flopping around after the first save a lot. It doesn't matter if he's a callup for a 10 year former Vezina winner; that's how he plays right now. And they were able to win a game with a miracle comeback, and lose the next by a goal. He's not costing them games, but he still plays like he plays. I don't know why that's so controversial. I still think if DeSmith is healthy, he will get the call over Silovs. But obviously the team knows better than we do! |
I wish our scorers would score so we wouldn't have to talk about who's in net! |
Laffs force a game 7, for maximum heartbreak? |
Nylander put this team on his back Bruins now face another 3-1 reverse sweep. Pretty embarassing from both teams if you ask me haha. |
I don’t get why you quoted me to lecture about Silovs being a phenom lol… where did I ever say that or that he is better than Demko? He’s been perfectly capable though. |
