Cheech's daughter lives in Tampa. Wearing Flying V jersey............... mind blown. or was that a head shot? |
|
at least there was some fight back tonight. still too little to win this game. |
Well at least EDM and the Laffs lost too. Oh wells, onto FLA on Saturday. |
we're half as good as Vegas, as usual. |
Should be a W! Boeser with the empty netter after Kuzer gave them the lead |
Kuzmenko had a good game against Florida in the win. -good to see Mikheyev back playing on the Petey with Kuzy. On to Nashville! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
This Canucks fan won the 100 grand from Save On Foods thanks to Boeser’s four goals against the Coilers in their first home game. Darrell Jones, president of Save-On-Foods, says this is the first time a Canucks player has scored four goals in a game since the contest started. “It’s about time!” joked Jones. “Frances is a loyal Save-On-Foods shopper. She’s been shopping here since the very first day the [Willingdon] location opened.” “Frances is an avid sports fan… and has been a Canucks fan for a long time.” https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...10af4988f9.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Damn, nice !! So as long as you have a SaveOn Card, you're entered? |
Jim pattison probably willed the 5th goal not to happen with his evil influence lol |
Phoned up Francisco and told him to bench Boeser... Boeser did have a really good chance too, wide open 1 timer in the slot I think the goalie actually stopped. I thought that was gonna be 5 haha. |
I was picturing Darrell looking like this that night: https://media.tenor.com/sG58s82gxywAAAAC/sweats.gif |
Select products gets you entries. The products are listed on their website and in their app. They also have extra entry opportunities. Of course, you need to be a card holder first. |
Canucks win in Music City! A winning record on this road trip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Ahhhh Petterson with those misses fuck coulda padded his stats a little Haven’t seen a couple players playing as good as Hughes and Petterson are right now since the Sedins probably, a great sign |
How the hell can the Oilers be THAT bad ... Oilers leading 3-2 at the end of the 2nd. Minny scores 5 in the 3rd to win 7-4. :ahwow: |
I'm surprised Petey missed both empty net attempts with how accurate he usually is :lol But whatever, getting the win is the most important thing here. It's early, but seeing the "cup favourite" Oilers with a 1-4-1 start is pretty satisfying. |
McDavid out for 1 to 2 weeks with upper body injury right now. Elias Pettersson had some awkward tie ups with his stick missing the 1st goal. it was actually pretty funny to witness a professional athlete Wiff like that...he wanted to get off asap in embarrassment but they just told him to stay on |
K, so this player on Sens, Pinto, got suspended 41 games (pretty hefty) for violating NHL's gambling policy. As part of the press release, it states: "The league's investigation found no evidence that Pinto made any wagers on NHL games," the NHL's statement said. "The NHL considers this matter closed, absent the emergence of new information, and will have no further comment." So, he didn't gamble on NHL games, what rule did he violate? I'm going to venture to guess he gambled on MLB, NBA, NFL? Follow up question: isn't it a bit hypocritical of NHL who has recently partnered with so many gambling sites and advertises ad nauseum, to discipline it's player for gambling in other sports? (I get you cannot gamble in your own sport obviously because you can potentially have a deciding factor on the outcome of games.) What's the explanation here? |

If they found he did gamble on NHL games or his own team's games, he'd probably be gone for a full season, or forever. League employees have to go by similar rules.. Even if they work for NHL.com or whatever - if they get caught gambling, they're gone |
Imagine being suspended for gambling (not even on your own sport) when there's Bet365 ads during every commercial break and your own helmet says Betway. Kappa |
^ that's exactly the double standard NHL is making. Especially if you get active players like Austin Matthews doing adverts for those gambling commercials and retired ones like Gretz. |
I used to think nothing could be worse than constant Tim Horton's ads... and then the gambling ads came out BrokeBack |

Also where does say playing poker with some friends fall? |
It's not really hypocritical... They're not saying "gambling is wrong", they just need to keep it as strict as possible, so there's as little question as possible that people are influencing games. I am as sick of the prevalence of gambling ads as anyone (it's even hit pro wrestling). Probably more! But this zero gambling policy makes sense to me, as long as the players are made aware of the rules and how strict it is. |
