69stylez has a better one cuz it has a Japanese geriatric drivers badge

That adds like 100hp and makes it AWD and MR and FR whenever the condition calls for it.

68style 10-08-2024 02:55 PM

Shit you know what, I think I forgot to take that down when I sold the car dammit!!!

I assumed that those would be worth more given how much I've heard about them over the years. Just checked Bat, they are (relatively) cheap if you want a cool Radwood ride.

I've owned a 94 and 95 SHO... MTX and ATX respectively.

Amazing engine, but the rest of the car is garbage. I do enjoy that generation Taurus styling though.

This dealer is shooting for the moon, MTX and mileage are both a plus but the cloth seat combo is no beuno and parts are getting really, really scarce for these cars. Lots of trouble spots. I sold my mint automatic 95 at peak Covid prices for $5k so $8500 in this market is a tough sell.

I test drove one of those a couple years ago and did not love it. That gearbox is too notchy and that motor is no fun. Also, typical British build quality - the power steering pump would cut out when I put it in reverse.

These were only released this past year. You were thinking of the Evora?

That f1 transmission is a money pit. Every 40,000km you need a new clutch at 8k cad each time.

Not to mention the other Maserati / Ferrari issues like delaminating leather interior. Seat heaters that catch on fire. Variators in the early gen 4.2L engines, etc etc etc

JDMDreams 10-19-2024 01:14 PM

If you can get this for under $30000, my kinda year round golf r beetle :ahwow:

W12 ?!? It’ll make the Maserati repairs look like a Corolla

JDMDreams 10-19-2024 01:52 PM

I thought the cgt is relatively reliable, and you can try to get by with real beetle parts. You may need engine out once every 5 years kinda thing. But the engine trans AWD is relatively reliable. But on the Maz you will have to go though Ferrari tax. Rust, corrosion issues.

Got the date wrong, it was last May. They were shipping around a single model across the country for people with deposits to test drive it but b/c I had a deposit on the BGTS the sales guy put me on the list for a drive too. Here it is:

What is a BGTS and how did you end up with a 2019 RDX?

Bought NFT at the top?

EvoFire 10-21-2024 11:46 AM

BGTS is Boxster GTS.

hud 91gt 10-24-2024 05:32 AM

I had to google Harlequin. I had no idea this was a factory thing in ‘96. There was one rocking the streets of Victoria for years. Hilarious.

JDMDreams 10-24-2024 06:44 AM

Must be shit if they spent all the $ to wrap then got rid of it in less than 2 years :joy:
