It's worth noting that this is a high mileage base model with a V6. Not just any V6 but the LY7 which is known for timing chain stretch (not if, but when).

aaaaand sold probably to someone who thought putting a V6 in the Plymouth Prowler was a good idea

Definitely rare, not sure if I'd dish out close to asking price but nevertheless, interesting.

Low kms, top of the line Golf 4motion, DSG, with stage 3 tune, $34K.

MK7.5 GTI front bumper with the Euro Golf R wagon rear bumper, and GTI turbo (IS20)+tune, very nice indeed.

JDMDreams 02-21-2026 12:58 PM

Can't you get an avant for that money?

bcuzracecarz 02-21-2026 02:47 PM

Very nice build, lots of time and money into that one. Clean

whitev70r 02-21-2026 06:19 PM

What would be a decent price for something like this blue modded 2019 Golf 4motion wagon with all those mods? $34K ask seems exorbitant to me.

Here is a 2019 Highline trim, 4motion, same wagon, asking a little more kms, asking for $20,8K https://www.facebook.com/share/1Fmsq15g9D/

And a 2019 Alltrack, 58K kms, for $25K

I’m still amazed at how these golf wagons are holding their value. When I got rid of my mk7 4motion sportwagen they were at 20k. All these years later still around 20-30k.

EvoFire 02-21-2026 11:11 PM

Cause there's not really a replacement for them. You want a small actual wagon, you have a Golf wagon, F31, C Class, or A4 All Road.

The F31 is holding quite firm as well, especially if you have a 330d. People ask 20+ for a 200k F31 330d.

punkwax 02-22-2026 07:28 AM

Wrong thread.

twitchyzero 02-22-2026 07:54 PM

ive never been a wagon fan but lately ive been taking a 2nd look whenever one pops up. not sure if its RS influence or there comes a time when every car guy will eventually fall in love with one.

Ha, I sent the new RS5 Avant to my buddy last week and he texts me last night:

There was an RS6 Avant by my work the other day after you sent this and I thought… “why not me?”
You will succumb to a wagon too.

Both. When the two converges, you have no chance, must get one.

bcrdukes 02-23-2026 07:11 AM

Didn't Ferrari release a shooting brake of some kind? So ugly, I want one!

Dude, same. I've fking despised "station wagons" my whole life.

Now I'm nodding along like :notbad:

bcrdukes 02-23-2026 07:36 AM

Growing up, the only station wagon I knew of were those domestic ones with the wooden panels. I was like, oh man, gross.

Then I saw the Corolla and Accord wagon, I was like, huh? (I don't remember if the Camry was ever offered in a wagon or not.) Then the Audi, BMW, and Mercedes wagons came here, so that's when I was like, oh snap. Then the Panamera? RS6? :fuckyea:

whitev70r 02-23-2026 07:52 AM

Also a result of family development too, life stage. Do you want to go SUV or mini-van when you have 1 or 2 kids?

No? Then you get a long roof with a sleek thule box which does almost everything you need and your wagon still drives low to the ground.

JDMDreams 02-23-2026 08:17 AM

That's why I never got why people need suvs, besides the higher ride height for visibility and going over bumps, the trunk ain't any bigger and I have to lift stuff into it now. Also pig on gas, there's no more rear leg room unless you get lwb range Rover.

The early 2000s was when I became very wagon-curious:

Then in the early 2010s it was:

Then:

https://www.kbb.com/wp-content/uploa...x9-1.jpg?w=763 One of the most beautiful cars ever made IMO.

All beauties.

bcrdukes 02-23-2026 08:53 AM

Oh wow. I forgot about the Mazda MP5, Mazda 6 wagon, and the Lexus IS300 Sportcross.

Of course, who could forget Volvo and Saab's wagons?

I didn't realize Acura released one. Must be super rare!

I have a soft spot for the Cadillac CTS wagon.

Camry had a wagon for gen 3 that was sold here. Rare though, and it had the really interesting rear wiper setup.

Gen 4 had a wagon but not offered in North America

All beauties.

I had the hot successor, owned a 2009 Mazdaspeed3. Fucking amazing really and it was so damn versatile. It could do so much that an Evo9 or STI sedan wouldn't have been able to do. From hatch to dashboard it can carry 9ft, so I could bring home a tall PAX wardrobe build, or a big rug from Costco.

I went to pick up toilets for my townhouse. The warehouse guy scoffed at me when he saw the car, but when he managed to get 2 toilets plus some faucets into the car, he asked me if he could take a picture

The TSX wagon was US only. The Sportcross I think was only sold here for 2 model years. I loved the CTS-V wagon, until I sat in it. The contemporary Buick Regal(which itself was a Opel Insignia) imo had a better interior. I guess I just prefer European layouts over American ones. Almost every America car I've gotten into, I've questioned their UX/UI decisions.

This reaction feels so damn good. I get the same reaction in the FK8.

On a smaller (for my standards) scale of things, I picked up a F10 front door from JPark and he was shook HAHAHA. Best memory!
