So I’m sitting here at LAX and everyone and their mothers are bitching to air Canada trying to get back home. All their inbound flights are being cancelled. I basically hopped the last flight out of lax before the insanity happens.

I got telus, $40 100gb CAN-US-MEX, those dirtbags raised it to $44 1 year in though.
Rogers offered $55 100gb worldwide roaming.
Im waiting for black friday

But it's kinda $$$. ($75+) Yes, it's super convenient to have you telephone function intact when abroad, but unless that's super important, I don't see the appeal of it unless you are always traveling. Most of my professional acquaintances now just call me on Whatsapp. I hardly get that many msg through SMS (either iMessage or regular) anymore.
I just get the cheapest CA/US plan as I cross often. And for anything outside, I buy an eSIM before I leave.
