True, I drove an S4 with exhaust before I went for the M3. Audi are getting better, and if the rate they are improving right now is any indication, the next gen would blur the lines between AMG / M and make it that much harder to choose.

The S4 was easily the most comfy out of the C63 and M3 I drove. In the end I went for the M tho, cuz it drove the best and I think I could cope with the harsh ride.

an aftermarket LSD would transform the C63. Just like it has on the Cayman.

As far as the handling and steering feel goes... Which is the typical argument for any BMW driver, all I gotta ask is how many times have they taken their BMW on a racetrack or even on a spirited drive through the twisties in the back country. Most would say seldom or never. I'm talking about the best all around daily driver here. I have a choice of suspension settings in my car between comfort, sport 1 and sport 2. Comfort the ride is nice and soft, great for highway cruising. Sport 2 is almost too hard for daily driving and there's barely any body roll. For me, an AMG is the best all around daily driver when compared to similar cars from other manufacturers. I drove a 650i for a while when I was considering buying one, and it did not impress me. I also drove an M6, and to get any power out of it you gotta be above 5k rpm. That's terrible for a daily driver. My car has 600 ft lb of torque, so its effortless to accelerate from a light or merge on the highway.

I have a good buddy with a CLS 55 with the active body control and to be frank with you, at 70% or lower it works really well, however above that, it feels very artificial how the car is fighting off the body roll....

i test drove an s4 at open road audi a while back. good power and the interior was really nice but i was disappointed with the clutch and steering. clutch was way too light, and had absolutely no feel, and the steering felt disconnected from the road. one thing i've noticed about bmws is how much better the steering is than the competition. even the 7 series and x5 inspire tons of confidence when you're driving it hard just because the steering feedback is so good. but in all honesty if i was to pick between a 335 and s4 again, i'd take the s4 instead. can't deny that the s4 is a beautiful car, not to mention that driving a 335 will make you feel like shit when you see an m3 LOL.

Bad sales, bad service departments, etc. There are a few guys I've talked to at openroad and one guy at richmond that were very nice to work with but everyone else has been absolute shit.

I actually wouldn't buy an Audi. I just leased the A4 from open road, because Audi's always intrigued me from style pov. I think the front end on the A4 is the best in class...especially with the LED lights.

Go check out the control stalks, buttons, window switches, carpets, centre stack on a 3 series or c class.....they are way more premium. You can tell the A4 has some vw dna...good or bad.....

dude, if you love the S4, go drive any M3 e36, e46 (the best ever), E92 they are all awesome everyday cars.

Ya, the Audi dealers I've been to all think they are the shit nowadays for some weird reason... not to mention the sales are either cocky, or assholes and have no knowledge about cars. 4.2 litre. The same one they introduced in the b7 rs4, same one in the rs5 and r8 and the same one that has been proven to be worse then the e9x m3. It's a great engine, but compared to the competition its shit. Also that's comparing to the current gen m3 like z3guy said its going to be absolutely crushed by the next m3.

I know a lot of us audi guys were hoping for the new v8tt but that would cut into the rs5 sales.. At some point audi needs to realize that they can't just half ass their attempts at targeting the m3 crowd.

Entry level car about 30-40k. If someone doens't own at least at least a car newer than 2005 with a value of $100k +/- ... that means their status and opinion in society is not important. If they were murdered and fed to Wolves somewhere in Alberta. I am positive no one would care. By the time you are age 20 you should at least own a Ferrari 458 or Lamborghini LP560. If you don't, you may as well could kill yourself since life is not worth living anymore. I am 17 and have a Lamborghini LP670. I just got my N 1 month ago. All these arguements about entry level cars is pathetic. These cars are junk. Normal cars such as Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead or Aventador, its worth having a discussion about these cars are more important.
