The black one was restored at some point. Only has 13" wires

The white one is owned by a professional car upholsterer. It was amazing inside and out. Hidden stereo as well.

The red one is in transition. No hydros or air yet. He's deciding which route to go. He bought it originally in 1994, sold it to someone who abused it, then bought it back and slowly brought it back to life. They are Daytons but he's looking to put bigger wheels on.

Okay so this is a little different than what's normally posted on this thread, but this red truck has been on my mind since I saw it earlier today. It's a Nissan, I think it said NP300 on the back and I'm pretty sure the license plate was from Mexico, not 100% sure though. I've only ever seen cars with Central American plates twice up here, one Mexican and one Costa Rican, but both were on vehicles that were sold domestically. I think I'm nerding out a little much about this but I think it's a really cool truck, about the same size as a Tacoma but a bit more utilitarian.

Why do all the rich people in Vancouver who own exotic cars feel the need to wrap their cars in some gaudy wrap? It's almost like a necessity that a wrap goes hand-in-hand with a Ferrari or Lamborghini. The worst are the ridiculously hideous crack lines. I understand the Diamond Rally decals but seriously half of the exotic cars driving around on our streets are so unbelievably gaudy. It's an absolute breath of fresh air when I see an exotic car in a nice colour that's NOT wrapped with some obscene crack lines or plastered with Instagram accounts with images of sacrilegious things done to exotic cars or people standing on top of exotic cars.

Just buy a fucking red ferrari. Except no one including myself considers a stock Honda Element "flashy", whereas if you're driving a rare exotic car, you're already getting a ton of attention and to further elevate the attention-whoring can sometimes be gaudy and rather tasteless, as I have said in a couple of my previous posts in this thread and others.

To live life to a point where you're doing things not for your own pleasure and satisfaction (assuming these wraps and such are done not because the owner particularly fancies the style but because they want to seek even more attention) but for the acceptance of others, that is a sad thing to do.

For the white MKIII supra, One tank is the nitrous and the other you can see the top of is I believe a tank for his meth setup, his car makes an insane amount of the power (1036whp) but can't remember if that was just on boost or boost/nitrous. Have to ask him next time I see him so I can have my info straight.

Last year's plan:

Meet up at Brian Jessel BMW on Boundary, mingle, 10 minute speech, breakfast buffet, leave at 11AM, with Police escort for about 3 to 5 blocks with those roads completely blocked until the highway.

Cruise to Chances Casino near Squamish.

Park there, take pictures, washroom break, do some interviews, drone shots, talk to Police officers (there were a few there mingling around), and mingle with other drivers, etc, fill up gas.

Leave after 1 hour to Whistler Olympic Village skating rink area where the entire open area is reserved for the cars to park and show and shine.

Tourists and passerbys stop and take pictures.

We take pictures.

More interviews with some newspapers and news outlets.

The village stroll is blocked so the cars can leave, with onlookers on the side waiting until we all leave.

Short drive to Four Seasons Whistler.

About half of the cars now drive home.

Half stay to eat at Araxi.

Next day drive to that... Spa in Kelowna (forgot the exact name or location).

The drive to Whistler is very, very fun (I'll just leave it at that) with insane photographers taking moving pictures (I won't divulge how they did it).

They picked their design based on the market. New money lacks class and subtlety. They want flash and glitz which is exactly what the Aventador offers.

It makes the f40 above even more special. That's a car owned by someone who truly loves these cars. The average Aventador owner doesn't care about history. They just want people to see them.

the Merc used to be my favorite car but it just hasnt aged well. Still a beauty but it looks dated now with it's successor being the aventador.

Never driven one myself but when i drove the Aventador at ExoticsRacing i told the guy i loved the LP640, he said compared to the Aventador the 640 is a fucking beast of a car to handle. No traction control, insane rear wheel power, and cracks loose like nothing, also a huge headache in maintenance.

He said when they had the 640 they would have 5-6 people go off the track A WEEK, now since they've gotten rid of it they may have 2-3 a month lol

boostfever is correct. dealer auction. you could say every car is a deal since who ever buys it has to mark it up for public. almost 99% of the cars for auction are from dealers who just had them for too long and wants to change up inventory.

well a ferrari 575 5.7l v12 makes only 508hp. remember there weren't a lot of 500hp car back 10 years ago. the nice thing is with just internal upgrades, you can reach 840bhp and yep, the interior is crap but the seats are surprisingly comfortable.

I had an i8 on order which I cancelled couple months ago. One of the biggest reasons I cancelled my order was my car kept getting delayed and instead of trying to resolve the issue with BMW Canada, my SA kept trying to push a demo i8 so he could make some money by charging a premium.

As of right now, the demand for the i8's has dropped because BMW has increased production so you won't have any issues ordering one and getting it within a couple of months. It'll be interest to see how well the i8 holds it's value because there's rumors of an i9 coming out which will be pure performance.

Got to see them twice as well. Once when we passed them at Horseshoe Bay (they were stopped for photos) and a second time when the '58 died with fuel-related issues. Damn thing died 4 times (and mysteriously repaired itself within 2min) from H-Bay to Home...but it did mean we saw the Supras, and leap-frogged with a number of supercars making their way North.
