Much like how you can't just walk in and buy any ferrari, you have to work your way up into the brand, many of the other cars like the P1, 918, F12, etc. are the same.

The problem isn't cash, its the fact that dealers only get certain amount of stock of those cars, and they have enough mature, sane buyers to sell to that they don't need to sell them to some clown who is going to make the brand look half retarded.

We will see what happens when the stock market takes a shit again. There is going to be a flood of "collector" cars that end up on the market and end up as drivers cars. The collector cars are an investment and subject to the same rules as any other investment, so they aren't necessarily out of reach forever. Just at the moment.

Story of my life. Even though I drive a Honda, a 272,xxx kms car still riding on all stock suspension bushings, stock shocks, lowering springs makes so many damn creaks, rattles, and random clanking from all over the place. Still in the process of overhauling my entire suspension system :lawl:

The rattles aren't the domestic car kind of rattles, just from worn bushings, so it's really not that bad haha.

Gallardo was in production for over 10 years, since early 2000's. Of course it wouldn't be as desirable as a brand spanking new Viper that came out ~2 years ago. That being said, Vipers are rarer than Lambos in Vancity, that also helps them being more attractive.

Ever since I saw Tiff Needell spank one of those around a track absolutely sliding the shit out of it I've wanted to drive one of these. I couldn't fathom a car of that size and weight being able to do what it could. Even though their power to weight ratio is a little on the low side given its age now I bet they are still quite a lot of fun to drive around the twisties. And after all this time they still look great...I don't think the styling of newer M5 models will stand the test of time like this one.
