Am I the only one who doesn't particularly fancy the new Mercedes rear end styling with the two flat strips of lights? I've seen the S Class Coupe up close in person several times as there's always one parked in a reserved stall in my work's parkade, the rear just doesn't look right in my opinion, too flat and two dimensional in contrast with the rest of the car.

The chrome strip running across the rear as well as the placement of the three point star badge could also have been executed in a much better fashion.

Every modification done to that 458 would look okay on the right vehicle, but on that car it looks like dog shit.

Pretty easy to prove if the car hasn't been crossing the border, and considering Alberta has private insurance I could see them working really hard to invalidate the claim. That's why I always get excess underinsured, any twat running OOP plates for too long or breaking N restrictions has no insurance, so around here if I'm involved in a crash there's probably a 25% chance the other person doesn't have valid insurance.

I ran AB plates out here for about 3 and half years. I even had someone hit my one car in a parking lot. Phoned my insurance company and they didn't even ask me why I was in BC. They even asked if I would like it fixed in BC.

To top that off, I was out of the country for about 6 months and didn't get time to fix my back bumper. When I got back I phoned them up and told them I wanted it fixed now and they asked if they car was still in BC. I said yes and they gave me a list of places to take it. No questions asked.

if you get a chance look on the dash on the passenger side there should be a plaque there with the serial number on it. i am curious to know which one yours is because the allocation was biased heavily to the US (obviously) and there are not that many of them in canada :(

He's getting a Sunbeam Tiger in shortly and has invited me to come view it :thumbsup: I've never heard of that and now excited to check it out. From what I remembered about the looks of the R33 was just the wheels and nothing else. Yeah, you could the cars were "ruined" by their owners but I believe that everyone has their own style. If I had the money, I would have modified it differently as well.
