^ I have something similar to that. A bit of an old pic, and some things have changed, but its pretty much still the same.

Grey goose and tequila for me... No point making a wall since they're always empty

Spending the week vehicle shopping and I've got no idea what I'm looking for. Been out for a few test drives, seeing whats available and what I like.

I'm leaning more towards a Chevy 1500, somewhere around a 1998-02... keeping price in mind. With newer technology, it shouldnt KILL me on fuel economy, yet still be reliable and have all the wants in a vehicle for a reasonable price. I hear the 4.3 Vortecs are only a few HP less than the 5.3 with more milage/tank.

On a side note... I've been looking at early 90's silverado's... Is there a real difference between the 1500's and 2500's other than suspension? Didnt they only beef up the drivline on the 3500's?? As much as I'd hate to have a fullsize truck, blazers and rangers lick balls.

Now IF I didnt get a truck, I would most likely go to Van and seek out a 90-93 Cobra SVT (dream car) and learn to deal with a bit more power, or mabye some sort of mid 90's integra... once again keeping fuel economy in mind.

fourtirefire 01-02-2007 11:21 PM

adam, If your looking for a silverado 1/2 ton 4x4 ... mines available for you!

down_hill_dog 01-03-2007 05:40 AM

Danny's truck is a beautiful truck in AWESOME shape. If you are at all looking for a pickup, youd be by no means dissapointed.

girlcrazy_420 01-03-2007 08:25 AM

Its also 17g's. While its a beautiful truck, I dont know if I'm ready to take "that big" of a step. I've been concidering leasing, test drove a few rangers etc... But 17grand financed through a bank, the interest would be through the roof. 17grand at a dealer, financed is workable also... but private sales will Kill me. Something between 5-10g's is workable, but something newer would be more suited for me. I'll see how it turns out as I'm going out to look at a few trucks tonite.

Trackers aren't that bad. We had one at work and it was actually pretty fun.

ColinK 01-03-2007 01:34 PM

you bought one? or just took it home for the night? Why would you buy it if you hated it? We've had two. Pretty reliable little cars, and handy too!

My dads friend wants it gone as he just got a new truck. Its supposodly mint/reliable so I'm heading out in a hour to pick it up. Its got a soft top and whatnaught but no big deal. Couldnt turn the price down. My brother used to have one and it was a blast.. sure easy things to roll tho.
