And Okke. . . OMG that means it was like a couple blocks from my house too :O I HATE living here by myself. . .I couldn't sleep the other night cause I was all paranoid someone was going to break in, lol. sunpeaks was pretty awesome for opening day, the main runs were beat on, but if u went looking for some pow pow, it was there :D had a killer time.

went up myra canyon FSR tonight, discovered a bunch of snow, and got stuck in a pile of frozen up/ plowed shit for a bit, but managed to get out rocking in 4low for a bit...

sketchy stuff up there, and it was dumping snow pretty good just above gallaghers

Took me 45mins to get up black mountain hill to my place. Couldnt grab any traction... got to the point where the cavvy started sliding backwards and a f350 had to move outa the way... :( I miss awd

Tried to head up to Black Mtn at around 7...didnt make it further than the bottom of the hill...looked to me that traffic was stopped both ways, and police were in the middle...:S who knows....roads were shitty!!

you know, once the snow flies it really makes you thankful for buying good winter tires. I was actually surprised at how much traction i had in the shitty snow in black mountain here. the highway looked like black ice by the pond and i had ZERO troubles holding a steady pace. I'm going to have to drive nicer on the dry pave so i don't wear these bitches out.

p.s. i hate everything to do with winter.

Snow tires. . .I KNEW I forgot something, HAHA. I think this is the last weekend without, as I have a feeling I'm going to get owned tomorrow on my way to work :D

i was'nt even sure of how much it was going to snow this year. I did'nt realize how much I appreciated them until it snowed and i was passing people up a long steep snowy hill where theyre all spun out and stuck. ( i drive a lowered Miata with stiff suspension)

I went up black mtn last night for the hell of it, the highway was fairly clear, but some side roads had a good dump on them. I unsuccessfully tried to get stuck too.

so i lent my quad to a buddy last week (had to cause he lent me his a few years ago) and now i need $1700 worth of reverse gears, bearings, and bands or someshit.
im thrilled.

you always seem to go out and intentionally try and get stuck and spend the night walking back in the snow.
