What kind of Fing Toyota blows with only 135xxx on it? it was a 2001 highlander and has well i guess had a perfect service record! this better be under warranty or i am going fng kill to someone in toyota tomorrow, i paid extra 3 grand for warranty but i hear they will try and find ways to get themselves out of it!

HARSH!!!! That's actually kinda funny though. I definitely though you were gonna wreck something, didn't think it'd be the engine though!

I guess you'll be joining my "will never own another toyota" club?I had 2 major engine overhauls before 80,000 KM. Valves, pistons, rings, etc at about 40,000KM and then cylinder head, engine block, etc at 80,000. I had all the regular maintenance done too. Obviously something wrong with either the parts they're giving me or the people installing them.

As I explained in the "spotted thread" to Craig, the car is partially mine our companys...i am paying part of the extended warranty thru my payments...i was merely pointing out though the fact that we payed an extra 3grand for that warranty...Toyota said it will be under warranty tho thank god...motor costs 4500 but it is all free lol

no i cant say i will be owning that car, my parts are obsessed with that company and i am we have owned around 10+ toyota's from Kelowna Toyota.....this is the first time we have ever had anything major go on one of ours...usually if anything their cd players die as they use the cheapest POS on the market
what toyota's were you having problems with? i have never heard of anyone have problems with them

fourtirefire 11-28-2006 04:50 PM

The only toyota I have owned is my Celica, and that's what I've had all the problems with. I think the main problem is the service department at Sun Country Toyota. The day after my last engine overhaul I was driving down the highway and the fender lining flew off. I went in and they blamed my aftermarket bumper. The weird thing is that the bumper had been on for 3 years and it didn't fall off until the day after I got it back from them. I won't buy another Toyota unless its a really good deal on a car I really want. ANd if I do buy one, it won't be from Sun Country.

my old xbox broke some time ago, i dont care now because i bought a 360 to replace it (mind you i barely even use it) what does suck is that amped 2 is stuck inside it, and i don't have one of those stupid torx screwdrivers to open it up properly. i don't want to fuck the game up but i'm going to smash this bish open.. i've already started, and man these things are tough.

they just released an update not too long ago you can download on xbox live and it allows for amped 2 to be played. i love that game.. commence smashing.

edit:

yes i do realize that smashing this is probably immature, and i also realize that the xbox is only about 2 years old and could be not working due to a $10 part being broken. but, the level of caring over here is really low. also, i stripped one of the torx screws trying to open it with a phillips aswell... this furthered my anger.

ColinK 12-01-2006 04:48 PM

I've got some torx screws....i think lol

If you wanna bring her by I can prolly open it for you

bluebomber85 12-01-2006 05:36 PM

i appreciate the offer!

...but it's already well underway...:evil

bluebomber85 12-01-2006 05:39 PM

well, i busted it to shit, and it was a lot of work surprisingly..

turns out NHL 06 was inside it... FUCK me..

ColinK 12-01-2006 06:26 PM

Looked like it was rolled? Front end is pushed in, cracked rim, windshield's gone, dash ripped apart... Best I could see from under the snow.

my grandma passed away about 2 hours ago at the age of 94. i have never seen or touched a dead person before but i have to say that what i saw looked nothing like my grandma and i guess that makes her passing easier. and whats weird is that at about the exact time she passed, i was at home listening to closing time by semisonic - it was a cassette so i was able to time everything out. i got a call about 15 minutes later (2:30am) and just as my family was leaving the hospice for home, that same song came on the radio. and its a really fitting song i believe with lines like "Open all the doors and let you out into the world" and "I know who I want to take me home. Take me home" and "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." anyways, she was fairly active up untill she died - we even took her tubing behind the boat a few years ago - so im glad my family and I didn't have to watch her mind or body slowly detoriorate. we were just hoping she didn't go on december 1st (my dad's birthday) and she stuck in there another 2 hours after that day passed. she wanted to go ever since my grandfather passed away when i was 12 so we're happy she finally got her wish and they can be reunited.

down_hill_dog 12-02-2006 05:07 AM

^ I'm sorry to hear that. at least she lived a full and happy life. and i think that is very true about the songs thing.. things happen like that all the time and most people are too busy to notice.
