girlcrazy_420 07-24-2006 08:44 PM

Got the 5.0 injectors put in this afternoon. Has alot more "pep" but I've still got some bugs somewhere in the electrical/fuel systems. I'll get a mechanic to look at it on wed.

fourtirefire 07-24-2006 10:35 PM

girlcrazy_420 07-26-2006 05:44 PM

New wires, cap/rotor and EGR valve on the jeep. She runs like a top once again.

got my kitty cat removed today, and put another resonator in place of it. No more plugged up rotten egg smell, and no more feeling the floor heating up!

girlcrazy_420 07-27-2006 07:41 PM

Picked up a nice shiny oil catch can for the jeep! Also modified a new bosch alternator in place of a mud filled "thing" that didnt work.

proshoraca 07-27-2006 09:35 PM

modded about nine hundred and seventy three dead insects out of the air, by running the shaggin' wagon today for about 30 minutes.

Kaiten 07-28-2006 01:04 AM

put in a new starter today, bigger than stock so it was an ass to get in. car still has starting issues... It's probably the flywheel. pretty pissed.

girlcrazy_420 07-28-2006 05:51 AM

Grabbed another Alternator from PYP... Replacing the a/c pump with another alt to run 600watts worth of lights on the roof.

AzN_ignite 07-28-2006 08:04 AM

lighten flywheel ring gear is a ND ND

bmxkelowna 07-28-2006 11:35 AM

weighed my black 17's
44.6lbs per corner so thats 178.4lbs for all four

weighed the stock 15's
30.2lbs per corner so thats 120.8lbs for all four

57.6lbs difference

down_hill_dog 07-28-2006 01:29 PM

not only is that 57 lbs, but thats 57 lbs of mass being rotated by the engine of your car... lighter is faster

blue92eg 07-28-2006 08:26 PM

well started on the clutch job on the car....almost the tranny out but the F'in Lower ball joint is lodged in there so i gotta think of somethin ot get those to come up...adn the axel nuts on the RSX arent 32" so ill have to get another size o well other then that its just hte tranny bolts and shes outta there

jeffh 07-28-2006 10:14 PM

^ not sure what your lower ball joints look like, but my honda mechanics have convinced me anything other than a properly placed cold chisel and a mallet is a waste of time (properly placed being in an area you can wedge it with good leverage but still be a safe distance from the balljoint itself) takes my favorite monkey 10 minutes to do an axle on my car
