I just wish someone would make a sticky, wide, lowprofile 15" tire!

heh i killed a near new set of $400 a tire pirelli's in around half a season, the marginal increase in dry grip the azenis would offer for the increased cost and decreased tread life isnt worth it.

to say they "kill" the MX is bs IMO. nowhere but here have i ever heard that. i dont auto-x so i dont care about how well they do in a slalom race. of course the advan neova is an amazing and unmatched tire, but at the rate i go thru rubber im not about to spend more than twice as much for something that i'll be done with just as quickly.

$150 a tire for my brand new MX's for the motherfucking win, NOTHING will come anywhere near these tires for that money.

Slo40 08-24-2006 07:25 AM

mounted 26x8.5" ET Drags on stock rims.

Agreed when I was at Packwood SCCA solo2 event all the fast street tire guy's are running this tire. Beilive it or not the Mc Cormicks in there National winning civic ran the SPT's on the second day. And put down some amazing times thats a shaved street tire also. The MX needs more support.

Took cover off of my F4i and changed front and rear sprockets then put on new chain (520 conversion). Went down one on the front sprocket. Then proceeded to go up on one down the street :).

Finally installed camber kit. What a pain in the ass that was, had remove rear a-arms, undo rear sway bar and enlarge the a-arm ears. Snapped a sway bar bolt in the process of everything, off to Lordco for me tommorow.

mod of yesterday.. took out the zeal dampers, rear swaybar, wheels from the car, put the H&R race springs and stock struts back in with GSR wheels.
Now I can actually get into my own driveway without scraping something!

Throwing in an electric trailer brake controller into the truck tonight or sometime soon too..

proshoraca 09-12-2006 09:11 PM

mod of the day, noticed that my transmission is split, bellhousing has a 1/4" thick split all the way down drivers side, fractured case all teh way back. passenger side of bellhousing very fractured all the way around, not sure how it is still in my car actually, pretty fubar'd. shit. haha, pretty kickass though. will get some good pics goin.

RRxtar 09-13-2006 05:30 PM

oil change #4 on the RR @ a hair over 7000kms. went to Motul 5100 synthetic now and still Honda filters.

yes, 7000kms is about 4000 short of where i wanted to be at this point. :(

fourtirefire 09-18-2006 06:10 PM

new inner tie rod ends on the truck, wow were the old ones worn out!

Hopefully that'll solve my irregular tire wearing situation.

girlcrazy_420 09-18-2006 10:56 PM
