aircanada.com and westjet.com both have an option for "Multi-city" that would allow you to fly YVR-LAS, then LAS-YYC.

For those of you going or looking to go to EDC, there's a price error on one of the Palms promotions right now. They forgot to book blackout dates during that weekend so you should book before they figure it out! I believe it's fully refundable if you decide to cancel.

Palms Travelzoo Offer

For example, I did from the 20th to the 24th and price is $399 total compared to $843 total on expedia.

I woudlnt worry too much about the hotel you stay at, seeing howyou'd probably be out and about most of the time in vegas anyways.http://www.entertainmentfm.com/01.jpghttp://www.entertainmentfm.com/28.jpghttp://www.entertainmentfm.com/03.jpg

I'm glad I could help, I know you guys would appreciate these bugs. I'd pay the $10 more/night to get the premium room too!

sarger604 03-27-2013 12:06 AM

deal is dead back to normal $249 each night for the Fri and Sat nights

Yeah that was fast,

Palms 50% Off

This one works as well, but not nearly as good. $553 for the same 4 nights, but I mean still better than expedia's $800+.

Bump. Anyone have info for hotel/flights booking for a bachelor party?

The dates are June 14-17. I recall someone suggested MGM signature suite but they are full for that weekend.

It will be for about 8-10 guys.

I just stayed at flamingo with 12 guys for a stag party… location was sweet, rooms were decent. i got a free upgrade to a suite just by asking if there were any complimentary upgrades. The hotel isnt the nicest but it gets the job done.. pool is ok… mgm pool looks better.
location was key for us.. got a decent price.

Special K 04-01-2013 09:44 PM

I guess specifying a budget would be helpful. About $50 per person per night would be ideal. So that means about $350-450 per night range?

I found VRBO® is Vacation Rentals By Owner anyone have experience with them?

2 or 3 rooms at the Palazzo would be great, but really don't know your budget. If you want to cheap out, the Jockey Club is a great choice as well.

dr.funk 04-06-2013 10:18 AM

how do you guys go about looking for the best rates for hotels in Vegas?

www.MyCheapVegas.com

I usually check flight + hotel packages first on expedia, then price air + hotel separately. Whatever's cheaper, I book. If it's similar, I book the separate reservations because I can modify without penalty.

Also, if you want to do multiple promos, book with different names and combine during check in.

Came back from Vegas, had a chance to check out the black card Amex lounge at KLAS. It was a decent lounge, not really worth the hype.

Going LV for the first time in a few years. Had to book a Sunday - Wed trip..hows the party life in the weekdays? I'm going late July.

Any recommendation for nightlife? How's the Vegas crawls? Pool parties? Etc

Vegas is party town like 24/7 so you won't have trouble finding a party. Especially in the summer, the pool parties are the BEST! I went last June to the Encore Beach Party on a Monday, and had a blast!

The buffets are a must! Cosmo Wicked Spoon for lunch & the new Caesar's Palace Bacchanal buffet are my personal recommendations.

After clubbing, Earl of Sandwich :sweetjesus:

miss_crayon 06-03-2013 12:57 PM

^+1 for Earl of Sandwich. I still dream about that ham and swiss on the reg.

MGM Signature was nice..but really..way too far from the core of the strip. Like someone said, Flamingo isn't a SUPER AWESOME hotel but it's SO close to everything it'll make up for the time to explore during the day and going from club to club.

Planet Hollywood would be a nice alternative as well. Isn't as expensive as some of the others but still a decent hotel and close to everything.

is it hard to get a table at a club with a big group of guys?

daval 06-08-2013 10:58 AM
